Joey's Pizza Broadway — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

Called & asked if they could substitute black olives instead of peppers on taco pizza. He put me on hold to ask & can back on & said yes. Then asked me.."what did you want to substitute" I said " black olives instead of peppers" he said no problem..give us 40 mins. My daughter went in to pick up pizza & they said "oh we have 2 taco pizza orders..yours must be the one with no name or number with the black olives. She gets home with it and lo & behold, No Black Olives! So I call there. & a girl says hold on..a guy gets on the phone & I tell him & he says.." It doesn't come with black olives only if special ordered. I said I did special order instead of peppers. He goes on to say bring it back & we'll put another one in for you with the olives. I said we already waited 45 mins.& I just opened a can of black olives & added them myself. He then says to me..."oh so you did get black olives" I said "no, I added them". He then says "I'm sorry about that". No offer of anything...not good customer service for a grand opening....

Decided to try the new location a couple weeks ago for a pizza. It was fantastic so we tried their subs and appetizers tonight. I don’t normally write reviews but I can’t believe how terrible this food was. Can’t believe it came from a professional kitchen. Steak Hoagie had almost no meat on it, meat was burnt, the 4 onion slices that they managed to put on were burnt, there was one slice of cheese that wasn’t even melted, worst “hoagie” I’ve ever had, hands down. BLT sub was not much better but at least it was edible. The onion rings and fries were so saturated in grease you could literally ring them out. Completely soggy, dripping grease. Nobody could eat them. 3 or 4 items ordered went directly into the trash can. Save yourself the money and disappointment. Wow...

First time, long time. Have been ordering from the original location for a couple years. Was thrilled to hear about the new location, which is a little bit closer to home. Ordered on opening day and our food was cooked and prepared like it would have been on any ordinary day. BBQ fingers are always on point. Decided to order again for the Bills game on MNF. Preordered the day before and glad we did. The staff were busting their @$$ and cranking out orders. Again, our food was hot, fresh, and most importantly really good. Food that is consistent no matter the day or event is a huge indicator that they care and are not just going through the motions. Will definitley be ordering again in the future.
