Let me start off by saying that I love Moe’s and this review purely reflects the customer service experience I had. I was driving home in a little bit of a rush as I had two dogs to let out. I did need to grab some dinner, however, and was so excited to discover that this Moe’s has a drive-thru! I get around to the order area and see that it’s a touchscreen drivethru. Interesting! It takes me through a series of options and as I have kind of an usual order, I have to pick options I wouldn’t normally and make adjustments. I place my order and swipe my card to pay. Nothing happens. The screen then says, “need more time?” I had already inserted my card at this point thinking maybe it’s a chip-reader and by the time I reach to the screen to say, “yes” it goes back to the beginning screen. My entire order lost. I drive around to the window thinking maybe I can just talk to someone to place my order. Nope. No one there. So I park my car and go inside. I’ve already wasted too much time and am frustrated that I have to do this to place my order. I get inside and explain the situation to the worker. He tells another worker that I had cancelled my order and I said, “no. I didn’t. The screen just went blank.” And then he said, “oh, well the card reader out there doesn’t work.” He seems nice enough but I’m thinking, “you guys know that something isn’t working out there and didn’t do anything to save the customer a little bit of time.” They’re making my order then and I get to the cashier thinking about a tactful way to suggest that they put up a sign if they know the card reader doesn’t work. So I say to her, “hey, maybe you should put up a sign out there if you know the card reader doesn’t work.” She says nothing and doesn’t even make eye contact. I’m an Office Manager. A lot of my job is managing an office and also providing customer service. If I knowingly knew something didn’t work, or for example, we’re gonna be closed for a holiday, do you know what I do? I put up a sign. That way, customers won’t show up on days that we’re not open, etc. Also, if the workers had apologized or made some sort of effort to fix things, I wouldn’t have been nearly as annoyed but none of them seemed to care or take pride in their work. As I said, food is good. Customer...
Read moreTLDR ; If you really feel like eating at Moe’s, head to another location. If you really have to dine at this one, pray you’re not attended to by **SA (don’t wanna call her out completely on a public forum)
The quality of the food was not the best, but that’s sometimes a hit or a miss depending on the time of the day and the day of the week. However, what made the entire experience (and psychologically the taste of the food) worse was the sheer lack of respect for customers. The entire duration of 2 minutes that it took for the particular staff to make our Stack, felt like an hour with all the raised eyebrows, huffing, puffing and the lazy/borderline rude tone in which I was asked what I’d like on my Stack. A slight misunderstanding of the number of sides, which could’ve been solved with just a few words and a smile, was made to look like we’d committed some kind of cardinal sin. Not to mention, serving us a bag of chips that had just been returned by another customer for being old/stale. Never again to this location
Note to the staff : Huge respect for the work you guys do. There’s no taking away from that. But if this is not the gig...
Read moreI went in on Oct 13 at 2:20. Ordered 3 tacos and a cup of queso on Moe's. After about 5 minutes trying to figure out coupon codes I used a gift card to pay for my order. I swipe the brand new $20.00 gift card and the terminal says approved. The employee said did you use a gift card-i have to do that manually and asked for the card. With card in hand I'm told there's only $8.05 left on the card and that I need to pay the rest of the balance. I responded and said that the balance reflected the 11.95 that it was just stopped for. The manager on duty got involved, asked me to step aside to cash a customer behind me out. Afterwards the manager informed me that the funds weren't taken from the card there and that the card only has 8.05 on it. I let the manager know that it's because the card was swiped and approved and was told that it wasn't accepted and again insisted that it hasn't been loaded with $20 or hadn't been loaded correctly. At this point the food had to be cold so I left without the food and without the 11.95 that I spent. If you want Moe's in the area head over to the...
