Wendy's — Restaurant in Town of Chester

It doesn't even deserve a Star!! They couldn't even get one order right on my 5 items. Two of which were salads! Who messes up salads!!! Well they do. You would think the avacado southwest salad would have something else than just lettuce and a slice of chicken. Yay it should! Another remark is that this is a fast food so why was it not even a fast walk. Literally we sat at the order window for 5 minutes, they had no one inside and no one infront of us. Anyway we got the food and it was wrong I had tomatoes on sandwiches not wanting tomato and bacon not on a bacon burger. So we go in the doors are locked we banged on the window and the janitor let's us in. We go up to them and wait another 5 minutes. Finally someone walks over and we ask for the manager. Another 5 minutes and the manager comes out, she looks stoned. And we say our whole order is wrong I want a refund. So she gives us a refund. She doesn't looked surprised or say sorry or say anything to her subordinates. This PLACE should be closed it is a waste. It's an embarrassment to Wendy's and to Fast Food. 1 star is just to much! Came here back after the covid crisis in the summer with my grandparents. We tried to enter through the door and it said drive-thru only. So we got back in our vehicle and went to the drive-thru the line was pretty long also. We sat in the line for about 15 minutes barley moving in line, then a group of people come up to the door, the staff member lets them right inside, so we went back around to park tried to go back inside and the lady told us we do not allow anyone inside at this time as it says on the door. That’s when we got extremely confused & frustrated, we then decided to back into the drive thru and sat for another 20 minutes just for the food to come out only okay nothing great or amazing. This place needs to close doors, worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been too. Who lets others inside and not other people? Are they more entitled to go in than us? Keep in mind an other few people tried entering while those people were inside and those people would not let them in, what an absolute horrible experience. They're on a rapid pace to run their business into the ground at this location. The quality of the food has gone downhill here over time. Fries are rarely fresh-tasting, burgers are often drowning in ketchup and with a little thread of onion - literally one or two circles popped off a full onion slice.

OK, fast food is rarely stellar, but for various reasons it remains a common choice.

But the worst thing of all about this Wendy's as we enter the hottest part of the year is that they have had no air conditioning for weeks! Even when it's not a really hot day the late afternoon sun bakes the dining area, which has no shaded windows. I am not the only one who has complained by far, but management gives no acknowledgement of the problem, nor any indication that anything is being done to rectify it. Or that they even care, for that matter.

I'm taking my 2 to 3 visits per week elsewhere. There are plenty of options here in Chester right...
