We wanted a quick but fresh and healthy lunch. The Shipwreck makes everything to order with fresh seasonal, high quality ingredients. A nice change from so many places that serve Sysco products. My husband had the Sammy Burger, roast beef with 1000 Island dressing, pickles, red onion, tomatoes and American cheese lightly toasted in a panini press served with pasta salad. I ordered the Twisted Chef salad with spinach & romaine, deli Turkey & ham, avocado, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, hard boiled egg, chick peas, mozzarella cheese & croutons with red wine vinaigrette on the side. Our lunches were made upon us ordering and delivered to our table. Everything was excellent. They have a full bar (beer, wine & booze) and bottled teas, waters and sodas. If you are in Clayton and want a fresh, delicious meal with water views, you will not be disappointed at the Shipwreck!

This is my new favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Clayton. Morgan and Eric are the proprietors—super friendly and upbeat. The menu is well-suited for foodies. Try the Hash Brown Poutine. It’s delicious, flavorful, and balanced. Shipwreck Eatery is clean, affordable, and well-decorated. Clearly, the owners care about the guest experience. And what a view! Take me back.

Huge sandwiches, lots of good ingredients, but waaaaaaaay to much mustard and mayo, and I love my condiments! Serve yourself, so no service feedback, but the people behind the counter were all very nice. Beautiful views off the deck! All in all a nice place.

If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in Clayton, NY, this is it. We discovered it last year during a weekend getaway, and it instantly became one of our favorite places to eat in the Islands.

The back porch overlooks the river and is peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing morning meal. The staff is always friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious.

Highly recommend the Hashbrown Poutine or the Pancake Tacos!! You can't go wrong with either.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, don’t miss this gem in Clayton. A true treasure...

Eating outside on the back deck overlooking the river was the only redeeming quality of this cafe. I ordered the burrito bowl, none of the ingredients were seasoned in any way, just a couple bland and flavorless things tossed in a bowl, and a can of soda with a straw. Beware if you order their pasta or mac salad because when I was ordering my food at the counter, I noticed a plastic tub of pasta shells sitting out on the food prep counter, looks like they just store it there. Will never go back...
