JC's Central Deli — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

So this is a tough one. I've been coming here for years and have always been a go-to but over the last year or so I just don't think it's the same. Pastrami/ Cornbeef mix on rye with Swiss and side of Mac.

The meat was FANTASTIC as always but the portioning is becoming smaller and smaller and now not worth the price . The bread was rye but they must have changed who they get it from because it just doesn't seem to be the same and not very good. The Mac salad ... Not sure what to say but nothing like I have ever had before and not a hit on my list. Very bland and the "sauce or dressing" is very odd for me . And for the last note, $1 for a single slice of normal Swiss on my sandwich ? ... Doesn't scream I'm worth a dollar 💰

Now with that being said. Staff are FANTASTIC and the place is always clean and ready for customers!

I have bought food at this place several times and referred others until today. I didn't know this place was full of anti-maskers. No one wears a mask preparing food. I finally got to try this place out & boy they did not disappoint!! I got the roast pork sub with rappini, provolone & garlic mayo on a toasted ciabatta roll!! It was so good & the Mac salad was delicious also!! I got my wife the Italian mix sub to go & she said it was amazing!!
