Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

This was my first time ever trying Jersey Mike's. I placed an online in-store pick-up order around 12pm, was told it would be ready around 12:50pm. When I got there at 12:53, it was obvious they were in the middle of a lunch rush. Probably 10 people waiting on line to order, and another 5 online order tickets waiting to be fulfilled. Even so, it seemed like the team was managing it well! There were three people in the front, not sure if there was anyone in the back.

My sandwich still wasn't ready, but honestly, I appreciate that they didn't make it way ahead of time and let it get soggy. Once I got there, the girl at the front-facing station checked to confirm my order right away and then said it would be just a few more minutes. I stood waiting for 5 minutes MAX. The team was taking new orders, fulfilling others, and fielding questions from other patrons about fountain drinks, etc. Honestly looked like everyone was busy -- no one was just standing around looking busy, they were actually working.

My sandwich was delicious! The hot pepper relish was to die for. The cold cuts were thinly sliced, flavorful, and everything was very fresh. That was one of the first things I noticed when I walked in -- the place doesn't have an "odor," like many other fast food chains. Very generous portions so I can understand why a regular sub is $12. I could've gotten away with eating half the regular sub for one meal and saving the other for later.

Maybe the service is spotty later in the day as supplies may run out or demand may be less predictable, or maybe I got lucky. Either way, the team that was working today (5/21/2024) at 12:50pm deserves a raise, or at least they deserve their jobs being...

First time visit to this location. Ordered a turkey & Bacon which the guy said was a #7 with bacon added ($1.50 extra) I opted for the full size with lettuce, onions & tomatoes with mayonnaise. And of course BACON however the bacon never was put on my sandwich after I paid for it.

I did call to complain and the young lady asked me for my name and number and the next time I visit they would make it right. I told her with four people behind the counter and the original guy who cut the turkey telling the guy at the end of the line he gets bacon on his sub twice it was never put on. I told her we would never come back. And that I would make sure to tell everyone I know not to visit there.

My wife ordered the mini #7 with lettuce and tomatoes and mayonnaise. However they added onions ruining her sub.

Again this place is not a good value due to the higher prices and the scamming of the customers who pay for add on's yet don't receive them. I don't know if this is on purpose or simply having untrained personnel. Then again this is a sub shop and you don't need a Phd. To make a sandwich.

My final word is to either have them unwrap the sub prior to paying for it, or do as we will and never return. So Jersey Mikes please enjoy my $25.93 since you will never get another dime out of me or anyone...

I ordered on line through the Jersey Mikes app. Now I don’t think one visit justifies an opinion of the overall establishment, but three times of using this app at the Latham NY location I feels does. All three occasions of ordering from the latham NY Jersey mikes the order was wrong, mind you all three times the order was the same. Then upon entering to pick up my order and checking to see if it was correct (it was made wrong) but no apologies just I made the mistake when I ordered. I accepted this the first time but the second time not only did I use app but called to make sure I had placed it correctly only to be told again maybe I should have called it in so the third time I use app and call show up no order even made. He checks computer and says they don’t have that order I must have used another location. I show him my phone email confirmation to verify. He looks at computer for another couple minutes. Says I don’t see it. I asked for a refund, he stated it’s not I. The system for me to refund. Takes my order had to wait for him to take and make four orders then started mine. Unbelievable that’s all I can say.

Now I have been to several locations never had an issue this is the closest to home. Product is great that is why I choose to go to them just don’t go...
