Bonfire Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Town of East Hampton

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE FIND !!!! My husband, myself, and our dog had just started our 3 hour drive back to the west side of long island from Montauk. We were dying for iced coffee and when we looked up nearby spots, we found this little gem tucked away from the main street. We were greeted so warmly by the staff behind the counter and they immediately brought out water for our pup Nova. While waiting for our delicious drinks, Michael gave us some taste tests of his homemade fresh gelato selection and we of course could not leave without adding that to the order. Michael and the rest of the staff were beyond pleasant and friendly , making the stop a perfect memorable, happy experience to end our trip. GET THE ICED HONEY BEE LATTE (even better with skim milk surprisingly!) ! Still dreaming about this sweet, but not overly sweet, absolutely delectable drink almost 3 weeks...

This establishment is lovely and very welcoming with a good selection of items that are actually quite tasty. My only suggestion would be that they updated their menu pricing. I bought a total of 4 things and 3 out of 4 I was charged more for than I should’ve been. Clearly not noticing this in store as who’s truly sitting and price matching over a quick lunch. It wasn’t until I got home that I saw the receipt at the bottom of the bag saying I paid $8 for my $6 hummus, $3.75 for my $2 donut, $1 more for my Sandwich (no additions or substitutions). I can’t necessarily say I have a problem with it as everything tasted good and I would’ve paid the extra bit of money regardless had I have known prior. I do believe that updating your pricing would be helpful in the long run for you guys because I’m sure there will be someone who will not be as okay with it as I am in the future should...

As long time Hamptons locals, we can’t tell you how chuffed we are that this hidden gem is open year round, as we’d have to slog it west of the canal for a proper café style breakfast. So Yay! And fortunately, the coffee is fantastic, the food is fabulous, and the staff are super friendly. Had a wee chat with one of the lovely owners, Lisa, who is a lifelong local as well, so reckon that she & her fellow female partners are the reason the vibes are such old school Hamptons. Word is that they’re meant to be kicking off a Brunch Special next weekend, so we’ll mos def be popping in. And we suggest that you try to get in now when it’s chill, because it’ll be mental come season. Perhaps then you’ll become regulars, and can curry favour to cut the queue, as we’ll be sure to be trying to do too. Ha! Bang...
