COBS Bread — Restaurant in Town of Eastchester

Wow! I have never experienced bread this resilient to time, pressure, heat, moisture in my life. Their Sourdough is indestructible, and indigestible! I put a fresh slice in toaster with its highest degree (7) and it came out not even browned a bit, just drier. Tastes like the plastic bag it came in... what is this made of??? I'm serious. I bake at home myself, and know my flours and ingredients. Nothing I know can yield this tasteless, rigid plasticity and heat resistance. Made for space travel and colonization of Mars. I don't recommend...

You would not believe how hard it is to get decent bread for a reasonable price these days. My third time visiting and I got a turkish bread which much to my delight was larger than what I perceived from behind the counter. The best part is the customer service!! Unfortunately (fortunately for me though bc this means more bread), the bread did not fit in the paper bag they had so the cashier put a second one on top so that my entire bread was covered. Stopped by to get a couple of snacks during the work day. Ordered a spinach and feta croissant and a cranberry/sea salt baguette. The croissant only had some filling on either end and nothing in the middle - taste was okay. The baguette was better than the croissant. They do breads, rolls, sweet and savory baked options. No coffee or drink options. No tables inside...
