Hickey's Deli Inc — Restaurant in Town of Eastchester

Hickey's deli is so much more than just a deli to get breakfast or lunch. Kathleen and Mary are delightful people, and that's just the beginning.

Let's go right to left as you enter. I'm not a coffee drinker, but coworkers are and they get coffee here every day, so it must be alright.

The salads are enormous and there are lots of choices here. Feel free to ask for things that aren't in the salad cooler, like cold cuts or roasty peppers.

Pastries and such are really good, especially the scones which are basically soda bread but they're amazing.

The assortment of drinks and chips is pretty standard. Look out for some of the Irish stuff that they stock and give them a try.

They have a bunch of standard wraps and sandwiches. The Beasty boy is the true wrap star. Ask for it like Ryan or Bennet gets it for an even better experience. Another hit is a hot Italian combo with the Buffalo chicken cold cut.

That brings us to the hot food, which is only weekdays. But it's all delicious. The meatballs, meat loaf, sausage and peppers, pasta, chicken, the list goes on. The selection...

this place is a rip off... Went in there and order 3 eggs, bacon and egg on a hero. They bring it to the table which is nice, but I asked for cheddar they put American, I asked for bacon well done they put soggy bacon.. Then at the end i was told the total was 7.95!!!!! i then asked how much was 3 eggs on a roll? 3.95.. more than double to put it on a hero? any other place would charge you less than 5, this was 8. So i basically told her i could put 12 eggs on a roll for the same price as 3 eggs on a Hero, she said its extra cheese and bacon (w/ her Irish accent) and then just kept saying sorry, in a snotty fashion. Even after i said your charging me more for eggs than your price for chicken cutlet on a hero with cheese she wouldn't reduce the price.. wasn't worth it.. and the Ketchup they used tasted like tomato sause, dead serious... And listen, I'm not cheap and I have spent a lot of money in fancy restaurants but this was just ridiculous and...

I wanted to leave a review specifically for a very kind Irish woman with beautiful blue eyes. I believe her name was Mary. I would first like to say that the place was very clean— from the front end to the back— spotless. The menu was creative and gave me a chuckle. Secondly, Mary was very kind and welcoming to me and my daughter. I imagine that she is a great asset to Hickey's Deli. One day we will visit again. Thank...
