Rostiq Rotisserie — Restaurant in Town of Eastchester

I was so excited when I saw this place opened in Scarsdale. I ordered the family chicken dinner for 4 with cole slaw, potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower as the sides. I also ordered a side of Mac cheese, maduros, chicken bites and Chaufa because I really wanted to taste a few different things - it seemed like a lot for 4 people but I figured it would be nice to have leftovers: I ordered 6 sauces - 4 different ones. When the order came the chicken was packaged in a paper bag and had leaked everywhere including all over my house as I didn’t realize until I got to the kitchen and opened the bag and my dogs were licking the floor (not a problem as they were happy!). The sides were in very small containers and were not even 1/2 full. There is no way this is a dinner for 4. I am so lucky I ordered the extra food! I also only got 2 sauces instead of the 6 I ordered. I will try to eat at the restaurant as the photos from there seem much better than the quantity we got as take out. I highly recommend the restaurant gets better To-go packaging as a paper bag doesn’t work for packaging hot chicken. I also think they need to adjust the portions of sides - or at least fill the containers! The photo of the dinner on their instagram was definitely not representative of what arrived. I am hoping they work out their take out issues as the food...

Fantastic chicken sandwich--juicy and tender, great sauce and slaw toppings. I also got the chaufa with steak, which was terrific last night and still really good reheated today. And I tried their creamy mac and cheese, which was also delicious. Got a few of their sauces on the side too.

Counter guy was super chill with all the folks who couldn't understand how a brand-new restaurant might have a longer-than-expected wait after making a local sensation. I had seen owner Sofia and her husband in interviews, and she also stayed cool and kept everyone there happy--she even ran out to the street after me with my chicken sandwich after the crew forgot to put it in my bag.

Go early or later to avoid the crowds! I guess you can tell I liked Rostiq a lot. It's a great addition to our Garth Road...

I was super excited to try Rostiq after seeing it on TikTok and it didn’t disappoint! The menu is affordable and has a great variety of sides. I got the roasted half chicken, it was really juicy, flavorful, and had perfectly crispy skin. The fries were great too, especially with the BBQ sauce and roasted garlic aioli. The mac & cheese wasn’t as seasoned or cheesy as I expected, but it was still good.

My girlfriend got the Chaufa and really enjoyed it too. She says it was well-cooked, flavorful, and satisfying
