Normally I enjoy making a stop at this location, however our last visit was not so great. They have obviously increased the prices since our last visit. Which would be fine, if the food were on par for what is paid. There is no reason that a bowl of glorified mac and cheese with a couple of tiny chicken fingers should cost almost $15! And a burger that couldnt even be properly cooked was far to expensive as well. I ordered a brunch burger(my fave from there) and asked for no pink. It came out pink, i get it...stuff happens. Whatever. Then as i go to eat it, I notice that the egg is also overcooked. It was a straight fried egg with no yolk(the best part of the whole thing) and it was so greasy you couldnt even pick up the bun! It just stuck to the plate! If that wasnt bad enough, the waitress we had was very pushy and annoying. In a matter of 5 mins she stopped at our table 3 times repeatedly asking if we were ready to order while seeing that one member of our party had stepped away. I was nice and let her know we were not. When we were ready to order she was extremely pushy. We put in an order for apps first, and even when we said that we were going to wait for the kids meal to come with all of our food, she put it with the apps anyways. Then she forgot to bring something to our table, no biggie she went and got it. But instead of setting it on the table she put it on my plate and stuck her finger in my food while doing it. When we were finally ready to start getting ready to leave, I asked for boxes and she obliged. She set them on the table and walked away. I was still taking a couple of bites when she came back and startes to grab a plate that still had food on it! And she stood there with her hand on the plate until I took it from her and packed it in the box. She then took that plate and a few other small things on the table, one which was clearly being eaten. We then go to pay the bill on the tablet and she comes back to the table and stands over our shoulders watching as we were trying to add on a tip. (Even though I was already clearly annoyed) and asked if we were having trouble with it. We said no, and she continued to watch. Then had the nerve to say something along the lines of 'make sure you take the survey on there and tell them how great I was so that I can get more hour's. ' No. Not happening. I was not impressed that night. For the amount of money we spent, I could have gone to Texas Roadhouse had an amazing meal with very good portions and way...
Read moreI'm normally a easy to please customer. I very rarely complain about food. And I never take any mistakes out on the serving staff. I understand it was, and is next to never their fault. But I do have allergies and make sure to inform the staff of them before ordering and I always check my food before eating as this could be potentially fatal. Now today I had to send back a not only over cooked with pink hamburger that was cold inside but completely black and burned on the outside. But the replacement that came out after it was returned was burned even worse and this one also had the allergen on it. So I informed the staff and he again apologized for the mix up but by now it's far to late to correct the issue. My entire party has completed their meals and are ready to leave. So I have to forgo getting a meal at all. Now normally in a circumstance like this a manager would be brought in to have a conversation and discuss what happened. The server walked to the manager and had a brief conversation with her and she walked to the p.o.s and apparently removed the burger from the check. That is all well and good, except the person paying for over 200 dollars worth of food and drinks gets no food and you make no attempt as a manager to come have a conversation. This is a poor business practice and shows no pride in your work. Lucky for me the party I was with felt bad for me and decided to pay the bill as they felt horrible for me. So for these reasons I will never spend another cent in this...
Read moreWhile a group of six of us were trying to enjoy a late night dinner on 1-7-16, there was an Applebee's employee in a white Cutler Jersey who was walking around with her phone flashlight shining it on tables that were already cleaned for the night. We were not the only customers in the restaurant, but this very rude employee made sure to tell and belittle her employees over and over, and loud enough to the the point where we felt uncomfortable and embarrassed, that the tables were not clean enough. She then would scream that the menus were not stacked perfect and that certain tables were missing things. I understand that someone needs to make sure employees are doing their jobs correctly, but doing it the way this woman did and in front of customers was very unnecessary. She treated her employees like bad puppies (and she looked terrible and disgusting in her too tight Cutler Jersey). Someone needs to speak to her on how to properly train and teach and get her off whatever power trip she was on. The six of us will definitely not be returning to your restaurant anytime soon, and it's all because of that one employee. I did speak to a male waiter before I left and asked him to tell a manager just how rude she was and how uncomfortable she made us feel as customers. I then told the unfortunate employees she was screaming at that I made a complaint, and all three of them thanked me! Hopefully someone in charge actually reads...
