I was going to write a long review last night right after we left the restaurant but I waited. I will just give you the main problems. The service was terrible. It took 10 minutes before they took our drink order and 10 minutes before we were served our drinks. The waitress never asked to refill our drinks or checked on us after they brought our meals. The was food average at best. The spaetzle had no flavor and was served without the gravy we ordered it with. ( BTW it was $5 for a small side) They brought that out before our meals and there were 5 of us. Then 1 meal came out, 3 minutes later 2 more, 3 minutes later the fourth and the 5 minutes later the last. I went to the bar to speak with the manager and told her the issues she apologized and said she will get the owner. I waited 10 minutes and he didnât come out to speak with me. I sat down and few minutes later we got the check. I went back to the bar to speak to the owner and he needed to get the last few dinners out of the kitchen. I waited another 10 minutes and the food came out but he didnât. I paid my bill and left. DONât WASTE YOUR MONEY! GO...
Read moreI was so looking forward to a good schnitzel and potato pancakes. I can tell they are made from scratch with fine ingredients. I tried the potato pancakes which are in the photo and couldnât eat them because they were black and tasted burnt. I asked politely if they could be redone without being burnt and was told thatâs the way theyâre made. I was not charged for them but was so disappointed. I would order them again if they were made golden brown and not black. Everything else was delicious and service was excellent. We were the only ones at 2pm and it was crowded by the time we left. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Hopefully seats will be replaced with cushioned or more comfortable. I would definitely return as the schnitzel and strudel reminded me of when I was in Germany. I hope this restaurant is successful. I researched and posted a second photo here of potato pancakes as Iâm used to having so you can see how theyâre shaped and the golden brown color. The dark caramelized taste was a burnt...

The food was amazing! Rich flavors, generous portions, and the beer! You can tell this comes from someone with over 20 years in the restaurant business and is actually German lol.
A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and genuine hospitality. The menu has a lot to choose from which has me already wanting to go back and try...
