Tanner's Grill and Bar West — Restaurant in Town of Grand Chute

I don't remember our waitresses name but she was excellent. She was attentive and sweet and she really kept me in high spirits about the entire dining experience. We got 3 appetizers and honestly, we were in over our head because they gave us so much food. It was all delicious. We had the chips and queso, the Bavarian Pretzels and the cheese curds. The cheese curds came with chips and onion dip and the onion dip was so good. My boyfriend mainly ate the cheese curds but he said those were good too. The chips and queso were really exceptional. The queso was seasoned really well but it could've been a little spicier and it would've hit it out the park. The Pretzels were great but when aren't Pretzels really good. The cheese it came with was really unique. I wasn't a huge fan of it with the Pretzels but it was still extremely good. I got chicken tenders and my boyfriend got the spicy garlic tacos. I got a little piece of the taco and it was fire so I know a whole one was insanely good. My chicken tenders were ginormous and it was a little off-putting and made me not want to eat them. Plus we already had so much food with the apps that it made no sense for me to eat them. The fries and onion rings were good and the honey Mustard they have as a sauce was amazing...

Atmosphere is cold and industrial...not homey like a grill and bar should be. Incredibly loud environment. Had to yell and repeat things several times to both my wife 2 feet across the table, and the server. Booth benches are roomy but the tables are so low it feels awkward to eat. Server tried too hard and just made our visit feel odd. Brought our food and never came back to the table to check on us or offer beverage refills. Food was terrible. I had brisquit tacos which had feta cheese on them..on what planet are these 2 things combined?! The dish comes with 2 tacos of which I choked down 1. Came with stale chips and salsa, niether of which I ate. My wife had grilled California chicken and tasted funny with some sort of seasoning that doesn't belong on chicken. The chicken had a strange rubber like feel. Also was not totally eaten. After we were finished with as much as we could choke down we waited impatiently for the bill flagging down 2 people that were not our server who ignored us. Our server thought it was more important to dance and roll flatware in napkins. I finally had to go request my guest check. Will never be back here and won't suggest you even go...

This place has really good food for the prices. Every Tuesday it seems like they whip up some sort of special with a taco Tuesday kinda deal. The mushroom madness Burger is amazing and probably the best mushroom and Swiss or whatever cheese you want to put on it. The French dip is very good. They also have a few secret menu items that you will have to ask the servers about. I also love the fact that you can get fries and onion rings but they call it a little bit of both. It's kind of funny because it isn't like 4 oz of fries and 4 oz of onion rings it's what they call a little of both so you don't know whether sometimes you're going to get more onion rings or more french fries. The quesadillas they have are also very good. They have a handful of things that they actually make in the kitchen instead of just cracking a jar of picante sauce open and dumping it in a plastic cup. I've been in this place about 20 times during May June and July 2025. All in all service is pretty good and the food is well above...
