I would like to share that I purchased a drink for $8.50 called “Dont Kale Me” along with a “Po’Boy” and cauliflower bites. I spent $31.96 on this meal. After receiving my semi cold meal, I asked Juan to add ice to my drink. After he did so, he spoke over the drink for about a minute with the ladies working in the kitchen then brought it over to me. That is not sanitary. Why are you speaking over the drink without a mask? I asked the kind cashier who took my order to replace the drink and Juan decided to walk up to my table very aggressively to ask me what was wrong with the drink. I let him know that I was taking a test online and that I needed a moment. When he walked back I heard him say “I hate when people do that.” Super unprofessional. It looked like he was training the cashier and this is what he is teaching him? To talk about the customers as if they cant hear him. I was not far from them. Check the cameras. Now, It’s been about 10 minutes and still no replacement drink. I went up to the cashier and asked where the drink was and he had no answer. So I asked Juan for a refund instead and said I didnt want the drink. He then asked me what was wrong with the drink. Instead of talking about me behind my back he should have asked the cashier why I sent it back bc I had already explained to the cashier that the couple sips of the drink that I took before I asked for ice was good. So I explained to him that he was speaking above the drink so he said he would give me the money back. Ive been coming here for about 4 years, Im not sure if Im coming back. The 3 stars is bc of Juans unacceptable unprofessional service and the food was good but cold when I received it. Do better please. No need for a response from the...

Mikka was absolutely lovely, super sweet and patient. Her other female co worker could use some lessons from her. I asked how the broccoli cheddar soup was and apparently it’s popular. I ordered a few items including the soup and spent about 50 bucks plus tip. The soup was awful. It tastes like it has lemon juice in it and was not cheesy at all. I went to confirm if indeed that was the broccoli cheddar soup because I’ve never had a broccoli cheddar soup that tastes like that before. Mikka was being sweet about it in trying to help me out, however her coworker simply replied that is the soup and “I don’t know what you want me to do about it.” Mikka offered to change the soup for me and her coworker comes over and says that there’s nothing that could be done that she could go ahead and pack it for me to go. I let her know that the soup was awful and I don’t understand why I have to take something I dont like. I was not asking for a refund. I was asking to change it for something else. Her customer service skills are terrible. I asked for a manager and she said there was no manager but could reach out to someone. Thanks to Mikka and someone in kitchen, I was able to change it for a different soup, which was also not good. However, I appreciate Mikka at least trying to help me out. I won’t be back. I feel like I wasted my $50 eating here. The burger was ok, the chicken sandwich was nit great and didnt have the hot honey sauce. The biscuits were good. Mikka was the only redeeming part of this place. She’s awesome and a great example of excellent hospitality. Overall, I do not...

I was stricken why I wasn’t asked how I wanted my burger cooked, or heads up would of been great, this is my 3rd or 5 th time here, so I mentioned I wanted medium rare that he forgotten to ask me, my food was brought out to me where I was told did you really want your burger medium rare , let me ask you what type of question was this you had my food and ask me if I was serious how I wanted it cooked, he after told me saying if wanted really cooked like that says he forgot they only cooked one way , which I assume is well done smh as you can see the picture the burger thinner then maybe 50 pieces of computer paper like it’s bad enough you make us pay for fries separately which were awesome tasting , but something has to be made bigger make the fries bigger or better yet have the burger be a burger not a thin sheet of paper like for the price it like what did I pay for , at normal burger place you get a burger not the side of few pieces of deli ham even then I think it thicker then it if you can see in the photo for the price you guys are charging at least be 100 sheets of or least 80 pages , just stating the fact that if you going to charge what you charge, can’t be like I’m eating a slider even then they are thicker, which the burger literally as thick as White Castle burger yet your not in white castle, the burger literally , the cheese gave it justice, yes that the good thing they have free water because their drinks are arm and a leg, so the please fix this because when you guys first open I remember the burger...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem for Clean, Healthy Eating! I was in Tarrytown for work and needed something quick but healthy—and wow, I’m so glad I found Grassroots Kitchen. It’s rare to find a spot that truly understands clean eating, but this place absolutely nails it. The food is fresh, packed with protein, loaded with vibrant vegetables, and clearly made with real care. Every bite felt nourishing. They were also super accommodating to my specific health needs, which made a big difference. I walked in hungry and health-conscious—walked out energized and ready to crush the rest of my day. Thanks to Grassroots Kitchen, I’m feeling great, clear-headed, and fueled for a productive workday. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone who wants to eat clean without sacrificing flavor. Truly one of the best healthy meals I’ve ever had.

Love, love, love the food here! Ordered the lumber jack pancakes (blueberry as you can see) with bacon and scrambled eggs and a side of bisquit and avocados. Delicious all the way around. The service here is also great! We asked the cashier for recommendations and she was able to suggest some options. They have options for just about everything. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten, and meat options. Inside is spacious and they set up two outside seats which is nice on a good sunny day. They are actually growing peppers and rosemary 🤗. I would definitely visit again to try their lunch/dinner menu. Oh and they serve breakfast all day! ❤️
