Although the food is good. The manager is the most unpleasant, nasty and unreasonable women you'll meet. We were sat near the door after asking not to due to it being very cold. She stated that it was either that or a tiny table between two families where the was no room to move let alone put all the dishes they bring at one time. We were freezing and the hot food became cold very quickly. At this point I don't want to eat cold food nor continue being cold. I asked if we could just take what I had left on my plate. We each ordered hibachi and 1 roll each. Each a Clear soup, 1 kani salad, shrimp tempura appetizer.
My everything was eaten except my hibachi and sushi roll. My hibachi was ice cold. I was freezing I just wanted to get warm and take my food home.
Because it was the "All you can eat" menu she said absolutely no you can not take it.
I explained the situation. She said no again. I said then i'm not paying for it. She said oh yes I was. I said then why can't I take it. I'm not asking for more food, I'm not asking for them to make me a new one. All they are going to do is throw away my food.
She takes over me at this point and says in a nasty voice "Are you done talking now" I stopped and looked at her because how dare she talk this way to any customer. She then proceeded to tell me "I said no you pay your bill" she then walked away.
One of the other staff members tried speaking with her in their own language. He walked back to us at the table with his head bowed down saying sorry I tried to help you but she said "No"
She became even nastier when I asked her name and said I would leave a review about this issue. Needless to say I will NEVER return there. None of our friends will either. We have told many people of this place bringing them lots of business. We went there often. They now will lose us and all our friends and families business as well. All because this " manager" couldn't be reasonable. We didn't order extensively by any means and waste food. So why not try to work with a customer that had been coming often to their establishment? Sadly custom service has become a lost art.
Either way I...

Read moreUnfortunately no stars isn't an option. Restaurants serve food, but they also serve people too. We ordered the Love Boat for 3, asked if that was OK, and only said we didn't want squid. Our waiter insisted that we choose want we wanted in our boat. We said, whatever it comes as, but we just don't want squid. He yelled at us saying he didn't know what we wanted in our boat and insisted we make selections from the sushi menu to fill the boat. So we made our selections as he demanded us to. When the bill came, he had charged us for each sushi, sashami and roll item separately, which we followed according to the description on the menu, and included the gratuity in our bill, so instead of costing $57, we were charged $178 instead of their listed $57 price. The manager decreased our final bill, which, including the gratuity in the bill for 3 people, came out to about $32+ per person, still about $40 too much. Totally rude waiter who didn't explain that it was a "chefs choice" for the $57 price, and insisted that we choose the components since he didn't "know what we wanted" without explaining that additional charges would be incurred if we did choose. And he then proceeded to tell us the $57 price was only for sushi items on a sushi list that was separate from the main menu. He did not point this out before. The price reduction was their big concession, even though we were forced to pay their gratuity price. I don't know of any restaurant that charges gratuities for 3 people. We won't be going back. Not an...
