Tony's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

I’m an Uber eats driver. I never review places strictly on service but the other reviews here are spot on. I came in to pick up an order for delivery and was told it would be about five minutes. No big deal. Then the guy tells me they haven’t started it because drivers will come to pick up and then leave because it’s not ready. (Uber eats lets you cancel a job if the wait time is excessive, which usually means over a few minutes in my experience. This is because in most cases Uber eats doesn’t pay hourly, they pay by delivery, so why wait for a job if it’s time you could be using to complete other jobs? Pay rate does not increase if you have to wait). Apparently every time a driver would come in and leave they’d stop making the order (the guy told me this) so they’re not doing themselves any favors. As I sit here writing this it’s been 22 minutes. Three other people have come and gone with their food, and not just slices in the case. At least the food’s fresh I guess. By the way, the delivery app warned me to double check the items as they apparently frequently...

Ordered Delivery through the slice app, food arrived more than an hour and a half later. My gluten free pizza was delivered with the wrong topping and the food was cold and needed to be reheated. They did offer a refund of 5 dollars for the wrong topping but I couldn't remake the pizza at home, so that was 25% of original price.

There seemed to be issues with the slice app, it took 45 minutes to acknowledge the order was received in the app even though Slice customer service told us it was in progress and would arrive in 20 minutes.

1 hour and 15 mins after we ordered, still no pizza, slice customer service checked in and said it was delayed because it was busy and out for delivery. After the pizza was delivered we got the automated notification from slice that our pizza was in the works.

The pizza was fine but not remotely worth the headache.

Not likely to get the gluten free pizza here again and definitely not through...

Skip it. 1.5 hours + for delivery. Appetizer sample = ground up leftovers. Chicken fingers were ground up meat that were refried, wings are pieces/no whole wings just chopped up meat that is breaded/fried. All of the cheese from our sicilian slice was stuck to the box. Chicken/mac n cheese plate = fried chicken cutlet and mac drenched in bbq sauce. Cookies are burnt/blackened. Everything arrived congealed and ice cold. No dipping sauce provided. We only received a container of ketchup. They advertise delivery as Ubereats but they seem to deliver within. We're still in Covid times yet they do not seal/tape bags shut so your food is open/at the mercy of the driver. Eh, not good....
