Dinner for a party of 4, with no reservations and reasonable wait time. We wanted a booth and we got one in 10-15 minutes. The general atmosphere was busy, but I guess, we got there just in time before the dinner rush arrived.

My party and I decided to order a variety of dishes to try on our first visit.

For starters, we ordered spring rolls and summer rolls as our appetizers. Honestly, I did not love both, the spring was better than the summer rolls, but if I had to choose, it be the spring rolls. I’ve never had summer rolls with duck sauce? (I am not sure what the orange sauce was but it threw me off from traditional peanut sauce.)

Appetizers were just ok, I would pass on it the next we go and start with the entrees.

For main course, we decided on a few items off their menu:

The beef pho chicken fried rice hot pot: catfish and salmon chicken stir fry noodles

Beef pho was pieces of beef strips rather than the thinly sliced steaks that I’m used to, broth was flavorful but not my all time favorite; the pho was good. Hot pot catfish/salmon was more golden in color and sweet, but I’m used to seeing it more brown than caramel in color, but overall was good, although I would consider trying something else next time. Fried rice was perfect but interestingly enough, the taste was not far off from the flavors of the stir fry chicken; it just felt like the rice was substituted with noodles, but both were good.

We decided to try halo halo, as our dessert. I am a bit confused the use of “halo halo.” I’ve only heard of halo halo being used by filipinos but I get that many Asian cuisines have a variation of it, but isn’t the dessert known as Chè Ba Màu? In Vietnam? Just the thought I had as I was in eating it. I love trying all and this one was good.

Overall the quality of food, service, and wait time were great . It’s so far the better Vietnamese I’ve had in Westchester.

I will be back on a cold winter day, unless I find something better closer to home but I’m...

Vietnam central is an outstanding family friendly restaurant. If you are looking for very good Vietnamese food, friendly staff and clean place, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! My family and friends enjoyed our visit in this very nice restaurant. The staff were so friendly, especially Tom ( the owner of the place) who was so warm and constantly checked on us to make sure that we were satisfied with our food. He was also very friendly with the kids. I love the Pho with porkchop. The soup base was so yummy, not salty but very tasty, just perfect! My husband also enjoyed his spicy beef soup and the chicken fried rice. He even gave us his special spicy sauce to try. My kids loved the grilled pork chop! Tom said he marinated the meat for 4 days, that's why it was SOOO GOOD!!! They even have the Halo Halo which is a dessert, which we ordered, of course. It was an interesting and yummy treat to end a very good meal. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely go back to this place! Thank you Tom and to all your staff for a very good first time experience at Vietnam...

I recently dined at Vietnam's Central, and I must say it was an exceptional experience that deserves a solid 5-star rating. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home.

The menu was a delightful journey through the vibrant flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. Each dish was a masterpiece of taste and presentation. The Pho was nothing short of spectacular, with a broth that was rich and aromatic!

What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the dishes and offer recommendations, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Whether you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or new to it, Vietnam's Central is a must-visit. The combination of outstanding food, a cozy ambiance, and top-notch service makes it a gem in the world of dining. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...

One of the authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the area, one out of two lol. The place seems clean and most importantly the same owner since they opened a few years ago. The services were good and they have free parking. The DIY spring rolls can feed up to 2-4 ppl apps. The spicy red pepper that comes with the dipping sauce is very spicy, but a must have with the spring rolls. We also ordered the entrée salt and pepper combo shrimp and calamari for extra app. It was delicious and not oily. Very happy with that. We like the porkchop pho soup, because the chicken broth they used was light but tasty, although you will need a few glasses of water later, it’s good. I noticed if you ask to have the porkchop on the side, you “might” get a little more. Pork is one of the cheaper meat, hope they would be more generous with it. Or have the option to add more. Overall a great Viet place in Westchester County.

Pros: - The only pho places around this area - Food is tasty and unique - Beef pho is good - Service is fine Cons: - a bit more expensive than Chinatown’s pho prices; however, it is understandable given that it is the only pho place in the area. - 13.50 to 14.50 for a reg bowl of pho. And 7.50 for two summer rolls. - They don’t offer a variety of pho - the options are just plain chicken, or beef brisket, or grilledshrimp, or porkchop. - They put in the mint leaves and bean sprouts into your pho even if some people prefer to put their own in. I personally prefer if they left that on a separate dish so I could put the amount I want. Verdict: -A pho place targeting non asian population My vietnamese friends two cents: the pho is okay but wrong sauce used for summer rolls.

I've been meaning to stop by Vietnam Central for a long time and yesterday I had a hour with nothing to do and it turns out that I should have tried this place sooner. At first glance this looks like a nothing place in a nondescript strip mall. But as they say, you can't tell a book by its cover. The place was fairly crowded for a weekday at 1:45. And I soon found out why. Under instruction from a knowlegable, friendly waiter (who the took time with me to learn what I liked and disliked) I orderded Pho with a marinated pork chop in it. It was great, it was huge and happily ate it all. I only gave it 4 stars because I need another meal there to be totally sold. BTW, I'm going back again soon.
