I yam what I yam. Was hoping I'd have been able to try the pickle sauce sandwich thing but it was taken off the menu before Friday sadly, so my backup choices had to be made. Ordered online using the website, going with the Chicken Wrap Combo and the 1/4 Lbs Popcorn Shrimp & Tenders box. Total coming to a bit under $25, only two selections seemed a bit over the top on price, but I thought at the time the popcorn shrimp box was going to be bigger than I expected. (or maybe the wraps) Arrived a minute early to pickup, was given my drink and then told the fryer was still working on the shrimp. (I'm guessing it's not a popular item, so they don't have the correct fryer on for them all the time or something) Ended up waiting almost 10 minutes for everything, but, I was handed another drink? I'm unsure if they meant to give me a free extra lemonade for the wait, but I took it as such. Plus, I had more or less finished the one I had been handed earlier so yay. Lemonade was great sipping material, slightly sour, slightly sweet, a hint of blueberry, and it was a fun color. A refreshing beverage for a summer day. Back home I dug into the wraps and shrimp box. Found the wraps to be finished in four bites each, pretty small, and yes the price tag is only $3.99 for each wrap, there is more or less a single chicken tender in each one. Quite the sad wrap indeed. Could barely tell a difference between the blackened and the classic warp, likely because there was just so little chicken and so much more fillings they add in that overpower it all. The shrimp and tender box was alright, but the shrimp were smaller than any popcorn shrimp I've had before. More like kernel shrimp if you ask me. And the tenders were not spicy, like I had requested, they were the classic version. At least the Mardi Gras Mustard helped out in that respect. Overall I was leaning more towards a 3 star hit for the lackluster wraps, tiny tiny shrimp, and incorrect tenders. But the free lemonade, which was pretty tasty, and the fact they didn't get anything else wrong, put this more in line with a 3.5 and I always round up in these cases. So a 4 is where I'll stand.

The new Popeyes in Clifton Park is nothing short of amazing. I'm a big fan of the food, but that speaks for itself. Obviously with any new building, you'd expect it to be clean and it is. Hopefully it will stay this way. Most importantly I want to express how simply amazed I was with 1 particular employee. I awful with names, but I am almost certain her name was Felicia. She was what I consider the epitome of excellent customer service. For a new restuarant you expect there to be longer lines, but even with it being super busy, Felicia worked like a well oiled machine and was working 2 registers at once like an absolute rock star which kept the wait time to a minimum. She was fast and efficient, but she was also extremely upbeat and kind. I hope everyone can take pointers from her because she is amazing and I will be coming back to this Popeyes for as long as Felicia works there.

I am giving this a one start review because I am unable to go any lower. This will be my first and last time patronizing this establishment. My husband stopped by the Popeyes in Clifton Park/Halfmoon on his way home from work at 11:00AM (they open at 10:00AM). We live less than 10 minutes from the restaurant. I went to eat my sandwich and it was stone cold. I decided to Temp it and while I'm no chef I do know the holding temperature for chicken and it is not 68 Degrees!!! Not only is that unsafe to eat it did not look appetizing at all. It looked like they threw a few chicken nuggets on the bun and wrapped it up. It was almost as if it was made hours before hand and had just been sitting around. I really had high hopes for this place but not anymore.

NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER TO BE COMPLETE. I decided to grab a rather large order consisting of 12 pc of there pastry desserts, a 12 pc tender family pack with 6 biscuits, a 2 piece meal w sm sprite, and their regular chicken sanwich. The whole order was approximately $50 give or take....now to the fun part... got home in about 10 mins, the food was hot so thumbs up.... but wait, no chicken sandwich, 5 buscuits 9 chicken tenders, the 2 piece was the only thing correct!!!! The pastry dessert was totally crushed into a mass of dough and grease at the bottom of the serving bag they use and placed on bottom of everything in order bag!!... BUT WAIIT THERES MORE!! We drove back to store/restaurant and I walked in with all our food...set it on counter and showed them the reciept, the sandwich was on it but not in the bag, and then proceeded to show them the pastries and ask them in fromt of about 15 workers and 10/12 customers "would you eat this!?" They looked and cringe faced the result of seeing it...I demanded a comp and refund....to which the little orange haired girl didnt even know what comp meant...I explained and as people were laughing and shaking their heads she said she never heard of that!!! I asked for the manager.. ...never the less to say i walked out with a $50 bill and all my correct food minus the pastries....we chalked up to a acceptable Win and now NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FOOD OR EAT HERE......STAY AWAY TILL CORPORATE CLEANS HOUSE AND GETS REAL WORKERS, AND COMPETENT MANAGERS. CORPORATE WAKE THE HELL UP THIS PLACE IS A GOLD MINE OF LOCATION...BUT YOU'RE ESTABLISHMENT NEEDS A COMPLETE OVERHAUL ON WORKERS!!! GET IT RIGHT AND YOUR BUSINESS, FOOD AND REVIEWS WILL...

Arrived at location around 5pm. Was hungry and thrilled to not see a line of cars around the drive thru of the establishment. My husband and I went inside to dine and there were one or two other parties ahead of us but inside dining was fairly quiet. Our order was wrong when it was given to us. Items were forgotten. The young man taking orders at the counter was aloof, acted too cool for his own britches and as he told me he doesn't input sauces that people order because he remembers what they say. Therefore when they bag your order the receipt says no sauce so the other guy that bags your food sees no sauce so you'll indeed get no sauce. Also, he throws all the receipts away at the register after he rings you out. Guess what - that receipt would be helpful to you the customer to know your order number. Otherwise they are just passing bags over the counter to anyone that'll take it. Did you order chicken? Hello? We all ordered CHICKEN!! I asked for my receipt after he threw it out because I saw this train wreck happening. He had to reprint it for me. As my husband sat eating our combo and platter out of 6 separate boxes when it should have been one container each we watched a multitude of other customers walk in from the drive thru with errors to orders, a man that ordered food right after us that didn't get his order until shortly before we finished our meal and left. Such a disappointing experience. There's a few individuals at this location dealing with the public that need some more training and time with a mature adult figure. Unfortunately Popeyes is not going to last. IF THERE'S A GM OUT THERE PLEASE HELP THESE...
