The dinning room is closed in May of 2022, everywhere else in the world has been open and available to dine in by now.
Every time I go to this location through the drive thru, they don’t have basic stuff like “nuggets”. It’s always hard to understand who’s on the intercom as well, which is why I’m writing this review due to what has happened below.
I go in the drive thru to pick up food for me and my girlfriend, she wanted nuggets, but as soon as I get to the intercom I get told, by the drive thru person they don’t have them.
So I decide instead of trying to call my girlfriend while at the intercom, and hold up everyone waiting behind me, I decided to just go in and order because it’s easier to hear people and learn what they have in stock.
Instead the dinning area is closed.
I have numerous times in the past ordered delivery from this Popeyes as it’s the closest one to where I live. I constantly have issues, either cold food, or messing items etc.
So I finally got fed up to actually complain on here. Also I called another local location the N.Buffalo Popeyes, and they had nuggets, so it’s not due to a shortage as much as they are either too lazy to order everything, or cook everything, maybe they just don’t make as much money off nuggets so they pick and choose which product to offer which I’m sure is against franchise rules
This location is managed extremely poorly, even when it comes to who they decide to be the drive thru person. My first job I worked at was McDonald’s. I started working grill/cooking food, but i have a personable personality and I am well spoken, so they moved me to cashier and to drive thru.
I don’t know why at this Popeyes they can’t put a reasonable person on the intercom. I’ve experienced this so many times here, to the point I don’t see how they can excuse the short comings this location has. The place is poorly managed, it’s an eye sore compared to every store commercial space near here.
I believe it to be a “franchise”, where it’s being poorly managed by an individual owner. As “corporate” locations definitely appear to be ran better in general, you see this with McDonald’s etc.
The parking lot has giant potholes, the sign on the front is missing letters, and this is in a nice area but it looks soo bad.
So finally enough is enough! I never ever leave bad reviews, but the owners of this Popeyes are doing such a horrible job, it’s not from Covid!
But not surprisingly many others have left bad reviews as of...
Read moreI was between KFC and Popeyes. Given the experience people and myself tend to have at this Popeyes I was more inclined to KFC but they didn't have the options i wanted. So I settled with Popeyes hoping it wouldn't be like usual. I ordered online to make sure it was correct so they didn't misunderstand my order (that happens here too). Originally, I had submitted a complaint about my fries missing. As soon as I got home and looked, immediately knew they were missing. I got there and had to wait 15 minutes or so for them to package it. So they weren't rushing...at all. Then I actually went to eat the food. The 3 piece chicken looked tiny and like the worst options of chicken they had to put in there. The mashed potatoes were thin and disgusting. The sandwhich was good. The tenders were fine. I got a refund for the missing fries on the app. The process was actually very simple and easy. Didn't deal with the store itself. Unfortunately, I settled on a resolution before knowing the remainder of the issues to come. It is unfortunate, this Popeyes always seems closed down and dirty. Slow. Never in a rush. Employees just casually hanging around. I don't go out to eat often, especially fast food. But I do generally prefer Popeyes. Ultimately, im going to have to put a permanent no go on this location moving forward, and there's not another one around me. So I guess I'll have to just not enjoy Popeyes anymore unless it's somewhere else. I know many others have issues with this location. It is unfortunate as a prime location, to be managed by such lazy and...
Read moreAs a former military member, I was stationed in various southern states and was a frequent visitor to the Popeye's restaurant chain. Needless to say, I was overjoyed at the prospect of one opening in the Buffalo area, particularly in the south towns. As soon as it opened, I was there. I understand that the volume of business they were doing their first few weeks of being open was high. Still, I was extremely disappointed to get to the person taking my order just to have them speak broken English, understand English even worse than they spoke it, not know what was on the menu (they had to run in the back and ask every time I asked them a question about one of their menu items), and be completely unwilling to make simple substitutions. I am not one of the people that creates accounts on sites to talk badly about restaurants. I love to eat and truly appreciate good service, knowledgeable staff, and most importantly, the food. This place warrants a less than stellar review. In addition to the poor service, the food wasn't hot or fresh. I am devastated that one of my favorite restaurants in the U.S., that opened up a location in close proximity to where I live and travel, would hire and train such inferior, user unfriendly staff. I'm all for giving a place a second chance. It could have been an "off" day for the cooks and cashiers. I get that. Were I basing my return there on just one visit, I would not return. It pains me to leave an average rating for here, being that average is a long way from poor, but, it's what I'm willing to do until I give them...
