I have come to core life many times since it opened and referred many friends and family. After my experience today I will never go back or refer them again. I understand things happen and usually I am 100% ok with it. Today I ordered a salad along with a side. I could already sense the mood of the employees while ordering but continued to smile and order. I stood and watched as the customer in front of me started having issues with her order and actually felt bad for the employees at first but then as I watched how everything was handled it changed how I felt and my opinion. As they tried correcting her order I asked if I could cash out since I wasn’t waiting on any meat. I was cashed out and given my bag. I looked and noticed no side, the lady took my bag back and said We are out of your side, you will have to wait. I explained I saw her make a bowl and put it by my food. Surprise it was put with another order. No one told me before I cashed out they were out of my side or I would have to wait. So now I stand and wait as they stick my bag on the side. Finally I’m told 2 1/2 minutes until the side would be ready. Well I watched the side be brought out and 5-6 more people cashed out and more to go orders prepared but no side for me. The workers kept looking at me with no apology or smile or update. The manager stepped in helping staff, he also saw me standing there and ignored me. I finally lost it cut in front of someone and said please just give me my bag. The young girl said don’t you want your side which I replied nope they have been ready for over 5 minutes and I just stood here just give me my bag. I am disgusted that I along with others were dismissed when it came to our orders, but were important enough to take our money. Again I understand things happen but if staff handled it properly I wouldn’t have been so upset. So when the drawer is over at the end of the day know that you shorted someone who would have been ok waiting if she wasn’t dismissed...
Read moreWhen we walked into CoreLife Eatery, it felt like the perfect spot for a healthy, quick meal. The place had a modern vibe, with a clean and simple design that made it feel welcoming. The menu was all about fresh, nutritious ingredients, with options to build your meal around greens, grains, or broths.
I was excited to show the boys how we could customize our meals. Enzo and Roman were up for it, choosing different bases and loading up on fresh veggies and proteins. We were impressed by how fresh everything looked, from the vibrant greens to the colorful toppings. The fact that everything was free from GMOs and other additives was a big plus, especially knowing we were putting good food into our bodies.
However, August wasn’t having it. He took one look at the menu and decided he wasn’t in the mood for anything too healthy. “I’m feeling a sandwich,” he said, eyeing the place next door. So, off he went, because, God forbid, we all go too healthy for one meal!
While August headed off to satisfy his sandwich craving, the rest of us dug into our CoreLife meals. The portions were generous, and everything tasted great—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The drinks were a hit too, with freshly brewed teas and lemonades that paired perfectly with the food.
Even though August missed out on the CoreLife experience this time, it was a great meal for the rest of us. We enjoyed the healthy options, and I left feeling good knowing we made a nutritious choice. Maybe next time, I’ll get August to give it a shot, but I won’t...
