I've been to this establishment multiple times, every time I go, the experience is worse than the last time, and I regret the decision. The staff isn't attentive, and very cavalier/indifferent about their jobs. The last time I went there, I called the restaurant to ask when they accepted the last guest, my party and i came 20 mins before that deadline. The staff acted as if we were an inconvenience, and refused to seat us. After the manager got involved they sat us. But the servers refused to serve us, said the hostess once we questioned as to why it was taking so long for someone to take our order. The manager once again got involved and that's when someone took our order. The waitress gave us attitude, and my party and I heard the bartender slandering, and verbally disrespecting the table because we came in so late. We sat there stunned. But i refused to order, because i felt so unwelcomed, but the rest of the party ordered. The restaurant wasn't even closed, the staff would have to be there regardless. It gets worst. The food comes and its cold, and one of my friends had unknown things in her fries. All the drinks have hair, and lint pieces in them, and the portions are smaller than usual. It was a decisive attack against out party. They intentionally did this. So I called the manager over. He Brushed it off, and offered us new drinks, and said the workers were tired and we should pity them. It was a terrible experience and I will never never ever return to any Applebee's. And yes, I did contact corporate. Definitely go to a different Applebee's if you're...
Read moreYesterday afternoon we went to our local Applebees. We like the food and since it was my daughter's graduation she wanted the burger from here. We waited by the entrance for about 10 minutes for someone to come and asked if we needed a table. It was not as busy as it usually is. We come here often. The gentlemen came back 2 minutes later to sit us down. Before we even sat the waitress for that section raised her voice to him and SAID she was not taking more tables and she will not be taking this one either. She had a big table "she was not done with it yet" and that another waitress (she mentioned a name) "had not been taking any tables". After that loud exchange of words between them. She said "I am not doing this in front of customers". Mind you she is the one that yelled at the guy first and was having a fit. We sat down and I looked at the time since I had a feeling service was going to be questionable. 1:51 we sat down, she passed by our table about 10 times to her large party that was adjacent to us and not once she looked at us or even acknowledged we were there. Not even an I will be with you in a few. 2:10 we decided to get up and leave to another Applebee's. Such bad service this time, I understand they are young college kids but if they do not have patience for the restaurant field, they should not be hired. As a customer I go to eat, pay for my food and pay for the service the staff provides. Now the Applebee's at Green acres will be receiving our business since they made up for this bad experience. Their 5 star review will be...
Read moreI recently dined at your establishment and I am compelled to express my extreme disappointment with the overall experience. The level of customer service I received was shockingly subpar, leaving a lot to be desired. Here are the specific issues I encountered:
Appalling Customer Service: The service I received from your staff was utterly lacking in basic courtesy and attentiveness. I felt neglected and unimportant throughout my entire meal.
Unseasoned Food: The lack of seasoning in the food was glaringly evident. It left a lot to be desired in terms of flavor and quality. A dining experience should be a treat for the taste buds, but unfortunately, that was far from the reality at Applebee’s.
Delayed Utensils: It's basic restaurant etiquette to provide utensils with the meal. However, we had to request them, which only added to our frustration and highlighted the lack of attention to detail.
Ignored Requests: Our server failed to check in on us, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic amenities such as water. A simple gesture like offering water should be automatic in any dining establishment, but at Applebee’s, it was seemingly an afterthought.
I hope you take this feedback seriously as it reflects not only my personal experience but also the overall impression your restaurant leaves on customers. I urge you to reevaluate your customer service standards and culinary offerings to ensure that future patrons do not endure a similar...
