Chimi BRGR — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I had very mixed feelings about this place. I liked the atmosphere a lot, they definitely nailed the retro vibe. The waiter asked for my name which i found odd considering that I was the only one there. The flat burger was a cool concept but the patty didn't have the crispness I was hoping for and obviously it wasn't juicy. The value really isn't good. I find it misleading that the menu prices were cash only, a 4 percent upcharge for using a card is nuts. For a $10 burger you really don't get much, I was still hungry. The same price would have gotten me a burger with twice the meat at various other venues in the area. As a massive fan of chimichurri I was quite dissapointed. The reason for the 3 star review as opposed to two is that the burgers, while a poor value, are very kid friendly since the patty is soft and easy to eat, the vegetables on the burger were very fresh, and the fries were the best...

This place is really worth it for the money you pay. Nowhere in NY will you find a Kosher Burger for less than $12. Over here you can have 2 for that price! they are a little smaller than regular burgers and that is why I went for 2. I even decided to splurge and get plant based cheddar cheese on one burger and it was pretty awesome. I didn’t like that they don’t have sauces to choose from. Only the basic ketchup and Mayo. But for this price it’s even worth it to get the double burger and it’s only $9! Overall if you haven’t been here I would definitely recommend you try it out and you’ll be surprised how little you spend on quality kosher food. Looking forward to...
