Panera Bread — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I went to panera at around 9pm... The cashier who was very friendly took my order... I ordered a tuna salad sandwich with a modern greek salad with quinoa... Oh and a large green tea (I love the green tea) anyway i'm standing at the counter enjoy my tea waiting for my food and the person behind the counter yells anthony! So anthony gets up grabs his bag and dips... So i'm just standing there waiting for my dinner (Whistling-drinking my tea)... And everyone start leaving... Looking at me like we're closing... Ummm excuse me?! Where is my food... Wellllll apparently anthony has my damn food... So the young lady behind the counter starts to remake my food... So i'm like thank you... I refill my tea and come back... My food is waiting on me... So fast forward 20 minutes and i'm sitting here in my living pulling out my sandwich and my bread is rock hard! Like damn near broke my tooth scrapped my gums and damn near popped my jaw out the socket to get some tuna... So I put it back in the bag and I pull my salad... I started eating it and it was good until I started biting into walnuts... Now I know for a fact modern greek salad with quinoa is supposed to have almonds not walnuts because then the taste will be of... So now it's saturday night and the snow is falling and panera is closed and I paid $12.76 for dinner that is absolutely inedible and disgusting......

I found myself becoming a repeat customer since I’m no longer working in the city and now working in the suburbs. I usually order and pick up curb side or just run in and pick up at the counter from this location, as well as others. Tonight was the first time I actually decided to order and dine inside. My boyfriend and I were decently serviced upon entry and the food and coffee were excellent. However, I was shocked and extremely surprised at the disgusting filthy dining area. At the time the housekeeper was cleaning the bathroom, but I just for the life of me could not understand how this place could be acceptable to any customer. Based on the small handful of patrons dining I just couldn’t figure out how this establishment has staff dedicated specifically to cleaning and the place be in such disarray. It was so bad it made me question the food and if it was prepared in a clean kitchen by hygienic staffers. I wondered when pouring coffee when was last time canisters were wiped down. I know the manager could not have possibly been aware of the state of disgust and I can only hope this helps them make quick improvements. Orders are usually good and accurate. I like to order a you pick two! The Mac and cheese and broccoli cheddar soup is good! Also, the cinnamon crunch bagel is good too. They have decent lemonade and green tea. The location is good and the Parking is good too. You can shop at Marshall’s and then go to Panera Bread after since they are across from each other! I also think people from the gym at here as well! You can join their mypanera free rewards system that offers free things from time to time like a free bowl of soup or $3 off a bowl of soup, something like that! You can dine in or take out! You can also call them and place your order over the phone in advance but you have to know exactly what you want to order and sometimes, well most of the time at this location, they make you pay over the phone with your card the time of purchase if you call to place your order over the phone- so be prepared and have your card ready to read to them.
