Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I reviewed this Dunkin' Donuts a few months ago, and I want to update my review. Back then, their donuts were below average, and most other dunkin donuts care about what customers have to say. I love jelly donuts since I was young. I have them every once in a while. This franchise doesn't even put a tablespoon worth of jelly in their donuts. When customers come in to say that their disappointed in their product, which they can correct but do nothing, it just tell you they don't care what you say. Their other donuts are thin as they cut back on the batter when they make them. How much are you saving when you reduce the batter on donuts? I'm Italian and to us cooking or baking is a privilege, and we do it out of love. When I cook for family & friends, it's the absolute best I can do. But to ignore people being disappointed in what you make and do nothing is as low as you can go. So for now on we won't be back nor will our friends....

I drink A LOT of coffee, and I go to this Dunkin Donuts everyday, sometimes multiple times a day, so I am familiar with all the employees on all of the shifts. This DD has one of the nicest, friendliest and competent staff that I’ve seen. They always greet everyone and if you are a regular, they remember who you are and how you like your coffee. It’s not just me, I see it with others as well who are obviously regulars. Your coffee will be up on the counter by the time you get to the register just because they saw you on line. The staff on all shifts are very organized and get the orders out as quickly and accurately as possible. If there is ever a problem they are quick to fix it for you without a problem. This place is not even worth 1 star at all. Stopped by this store 1106 Hempstead Turnpike Franklin Square at 9:47pm and wanted to order a hot latte and the associate working this shift stated he “ cannot make latte right now he is closing” mind you it is only 9:47pm not 10pm. Also the mobile app service was not functioning which is why I had to go inside.

And he made the customers in the store who were sitting at a table get out because he was closing. He was cursing at the customers. was very rude and nasty to the other customers. Once we were all out of the store he locked the door right away. I always came here but after this experience I will not be back...
