Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

God Bless this establishment! Everything was hot, ready, and surprisingly well made. Better experience than I've had at other DD locations from east to west all around the country. It was 4 am and because I had to get up to move my car from the parking space I had at my hotel (no parking 3am to 6am Monday Wednesday and Friday for whatever reason that is) I ventured out to start my day with a cup of coffee. Well all the gas stations in the area are small and some only have booths and pump your gas for you so there isn't any convenience items to speak of at these locations. So then I looked at Google maps to see what may have been open at the time. Well I went to 2 different McDonalds locations that it said were open 24 hours only to be turned away when I pulled up to the drive thru. So then I just started driving around the city. Drove along a parkway beside the JFK Airport for quite a ways. I started to see lights again of businesses up ahead so I kept driving towards them until I came upon this establishment and quickly pulled into the parking lot and placed my order sitting in my car through the DD app on my phone. I then mapped out my journey back to the hotel as I had no idea where I was or any clue how I got there in the first place but kudos to the employees working that morning because I didn't sit in the car long before I went inside to check on the progression of my order. It was a $17 and some change order with a variety of extras and options. Well I looked around and didn't see any bags waiting right off so I was just going to stand to the side and wait till the sweet lady behind the counter let out a "can I help you". I probably looked confused and out of sorts with the days events so far so I said yea I had placed an order on your app so I'm here to pick it up. I told her my name and she said oh its right there at the end of the counter. You got the brownie batter and all that stuff right. I said yea that's me. She said well yea its right there and he's working on your machiatto now. I was amazed that everything in those bags were correct, neatly placed, and prepared at an astonishing pace. Everything in my order was delicious and it was the best experience I've ever had at any DDs location across the country and I've been to a lot of them. So thanks to the employees working that morning and to the establishment for being open at that hour for brightening my day before the light got snuffed out again by my not having my parking place when I returned to my hotel and the only available one was being...

Praise God! Praise God! It was such a huge blessing ordering from Dunkin’ Donuts in Lawrence. So Rare and so precious that she is. Kasarah W. was such a kind and warm hearted employee. I’ll go as far as to even call her ‘Nala’. St. Matthew 10:42 KJV “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward”. That goes for male and female. Truly a giving and very caring women. She is truly a blessing to this world. I mean that! I was treated like a prince. Kasarah, ‘Nala’ made sure I received all that I ordered and more. Wow; I was speechless, and taken by surprise! I never experience this before from a total stranger. Proverbs 11:25 KJV “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Nala has such a strong: strong work ethic from what I saw. You Go girl! I pray she receives the employee of the century award! I’m still thinking about how I was treated still to this day. I thank God! All good is of God! I was favored by God through this young women, Nala. I am so appreciative! She almost brought me to tears. Nala is a person that should receive adoration and the most appreciation, comfort and love; affiction, encouragement: Salvation and the Holy Ghost! Yes indeed! She is precious. I pray that she’ll receive Jesus the right way and receive more than a double portion for blessing me and others. What a blessing again; especially during these times... Disappointing Experience – Not Worth Coming Anymore

I’ve been coming to this location for a long time, and unfortunately, the experience has consistently gone downhill. The staff is consistently rude and impatient, making interactions unpleasant. They rarely get customizations right — no matter how clearly you ask, your order often comes out wrong.

For example, I asked for less ice in my drink, and it was still packed with ice. I later learned that the manager supposedly instructs staff to charge extra for no ice, which seems unreasonable. Today, I ordered an iced caramel latte, and what I got looked and tasted like plain milk — no color, no coffee, nothing. When I ask for coffee to be added they insisted on charging extra instead of being understanding. So I asked for my money back.

After all these years of being a loyal customer, it’s frustrating to see things change for the worse. It’s simply not worth coming here anymore. You’re better off driving a bit further to a different location with better service and...
