Great China Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

We’ve eaten here in the past but we won’t be back. Ordered very minimal amount of food… lo mein, fried rice, steamed dumplings and crab Rangoons. We were told 25 mins. At 40 mins we asked what was going on and they hadn’t even finished our order and kept saying one minute. Granted they were super busy.but we saw mistake after mistake. People missing food. Called my order in by phone. When I got there, I was asked if I wanted anything else. Always get their special mustard and duck sauce for a small fee. No charge for tea bags. Their wonton soup is meaty and delicious! Their shrimp dishes, fried rice, and egg rolls are great! Never had a problem with my order. Always got what I ordered and piping hot when I got it home. Most of all it was the lady at the counter welcomed you w/ a smile (which i find RARE when Im in NYC) for me. I come from the DMV (VA) where etiquette and the customer service expectation is high!! The atmosphere is clean, i put 3 star only because its a carry out- nothing special, BUT relatively speaking 4/5 for sure!!!
