Went here for the first time last Friday night at 6:30pm and the service was awful. We went to celebrate a special birthday and wanted something fun, but wish we had gone somewhere else.
after being seated we sat there for 10 minutes without any waiter coming over I eventually got up and asked the woman in the front if we could have water. She asked another waiter to get it - then 5 minutes later we still have no water and the guy was mopping instead I tried to get water from the bar but stood there for 5 minutes and never was able to get the bartenders attention eventually got a waitress and ordered drink and apps 5 minutes later a different waiter came over to ask if we wanted to order something. The waiters and waitresses all seemed confused. the drinks took forever to come and we had to remind our waiter 3 times about my husbands drink. When we finally got our drinks, we ordered a second immediately since the first one took soooo long. It took 15 more minutes to get our next drink and we kept seeing the bartender walk away from the bar - so I have no idea what was happening. The place is not that big - there’s only a few hibachi tables and then the bar area so I’m unclear why the service was so bad and why there was no communication between waiters. they gave us the wrong appetizer, not what we ordered when everyone at the table finished eating, it again took forever for a waiter to realize and to come over. There were only 2 tables left, including ours but yet the waiters all had their heads down mopping and took forever to realize everyone wanted the check. Noons ever apologized or acknowledged how long we waited for everything, so it was pretty disappointing. lastly, there definitely was no AC. There was a fan or a portable AC in the bar area but the restaurant section was really hot.
The chef was actually great but was overshadowed by the poor...
Read moreFirst off - the place itself is nice. It’s larger than expected, nice bar and a bunch of hibachi tables so space is not an issue. I came here to pick up an order on a Saturday night… I figured they would be busy and I would have to wait, however my order said “ready” after about 25 minutes, so I went over to pick it up. Long story short - they were severely understaffed, the greeter at the door was also serving drinks behind the bar and running back and forth to help out where needed. This was around 8pm, I would assume that at that time you would have enough people to assist. The greeter was so busy running around she did not acknowledge me for 15 minutes. I had to chase her down and ask about my order and show her the ready status, at this point she told me “oh it’s ready, 5 minutes” - while waiting I was chatting with some fellow patrons who were also waiting for their food, for 45 minutes each, respectively. My food eventually got to me, after 45 minutes of me waiting there taking up space. I hate to leave reviews like this, but my hope is that they fix their issues because the food was ok, albeit I found a long gray hair in my hibachi… I’m sure all of this can be avoided if they had more people on staff for a busy night. All things considered I would give them another try, however it’s only because it’s local and I would rather shop locally than head to other...
