I chose to go in for a take out order on Independence Day around 7PM. It was a mistake. Several people were waiting for their orders, phone was constantly ringing (with them answering, of course). They immediately told me I would have to wait about 1.5 hours for my order; I placed it anyway & decided to run up the road to CVS. They had started to turn down orders, so I guess I was "lucky". However, before leaving, I asked if I could apply a credit from a previous terrible order delivered to me in June (I am 97% of the time, a delivery customer). Tammy said she had "no time to look it up". The only reason I could find that an acceptable answer is that they don't keep adequate records (i.e.-writing info in the date customer ordered/called, of which Tammy didn't even ask me). After parking at CVS, about 4 minutes later, I decided to call back & cancel my order. Tammy thought I was calling to place an order & started to tell me they were no longer accepting orders, but I clarified my intent & thanked her. I have always given this restaurant 5 stars consistently; their grubhub drivers are terrific & their own delivery man was excellent on the June order. It was the food that was a problem. I will more than likely try them again to see if they can continue to earn my business, instead if going to buy from an establishment a bit...
Read moreLove this place for their food but Ive had it with their prices. Their own menu they provide in the store, and the one listed on their website are both outdated enough to be dollars different between ordering and paying, which I find disrespectful. I looked up what I wanted to order (a cheese pizza and 6 garlic knots with sauce and cheese, listed $4.50 on their website menu... first of all these guys put the sauce ON the garlic knots in a tin all together, then they were $9 LOL. For 6 ruined garlic knots (they were soooo soggy). Sadly this is the final straw for me because this has happened several times ($3 to add a single topping to a pizza even though it's listed as less on their website and menu, same with their soups) so this time I was very careful to order from their own website menu, which still didn't have accurate pricing and wasn't even close. Sad. Hope they update their menus or lower their prices back down to match all the menus they give out.
I added a photo from their website that shows 6 garlic knots with sauce and cheese listed for $4.50. When I went to pick it up they charged me $9, and the knots were soggy and gross because they put the...
Read moreAfter what I️ just ate, I️ will definitely be a regular. I️ got garlic knots and a chicken roll. Honestly I️ thought the price was great. In fact when I️ was told the amount I️ was kind of shocked. I️ looked in the bag thinking they forget something. I️ went here for my first time ever. It was 9:30pm and the food was fresh. The garlic knots were soooo good, OMG!!! I️ love the fact the I️ was offered sauce on the side instead of of me having to ask just to get a funny look with a hesitant answer. The mozzarella was perfect.... the texture and everything.... not that tough cheese that tends to top pizza nowadays. Also everyone was very friendly. I️ like how I️ felt the family foundation just being in there for ten minutes. I’m not even sure of the family dynamic of that business. I️ just loved what I️ seen. There was a young lady who I️ believe was delivering orders and when she was leaving out to make deliveries everyone gave her a loving farewell, “like be safe”or “see ya hun”. That made me feel great. And everyone made sure I️ was being...
