I paid 65 dollars to get my severed vacuum cord replaced. The replacement cord was 23 dollars on Amazon, then I figured 40 bucks for labor okay. The vacuum cleaner was Brand New, and 65 was better than buying a new one. However, the cord was NOT replaced, it was cut and fixed with electrical tape! To add insult to injury, the cord is half grey( the original cord) and half black (the cord they attached to it). I had better expectations from a company that has been in business for so long.
