Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I used to work here and actually completely stopped showing up to work because they hired this guy Lazaro who is a complete creep, and on multiple occasions would ask me to come home with him after work, and several other incidents where he pinched/ grabbed my waist. Talking to him about how uncomfortable he made me was nearly impossible as if he wouldn't get the hint, and he would continue showing inappropriate behavior and asking me very personal unrelated work questions. Every female that walks into this Moe's is objectified and slandered and what irritates me is whenever this weirdo has the gull to say something in a sexually harassing manner, its in Spanish. What's worse is that some of the girls that walk into Moe's are teenage girls, and he's commenting on there physical appearance as they walk away and its beyond disturbing to me. It's sad that I sacrificed having a job for now rather than go into that place and work for someone who doesn't respect me, or their customers. Google reviews isn't the last place i'll be informing people of this Moe's, I seriously don't understand how this place is still...

WELCOME TO MOOEESS!! The loud chant reverberates through the store as Imelda greets every customer entering the store. Her passion in her greeting is a great representation of the love the store has for both what it serves and it's appreciation of the customers. Regardless of the food to be served, one can already know they're going to have a good time. But the food is very good, so the cheerful nature of the staff just makes it better.

It's a Moe's, so please don't compare it to a gourmet or formal Mexican spot. That out of the way, the food is incredibly fresh, the chips crispy, salsa refreshing, and meats tender. If I had to choose between this and Chipotle, well, I wouldn't be writing this review if I preferred Chipotle. They don't skimp on portions and you can always get more chips.

Long story short, good food, good, people, and an overall comfortable environment makes this a great stop any day of the week. Though Tuesdays are always great if you have kids for their "Kids eat free" special. Thanks...

For many years, I have dined at several Moe's locations throughout the country and the service, food, and quality has always been very good. For the few recent years, I've noticed that the protein portion size in the meals are a lot less than before while the (overall) cost has increased. Staff at this location was friendly and service was very good. Always love the included chips and salsa with my meals, which most other Mexican chain restaurants don't offer. Very good and delicious variety at the salsa bar. Restaurant was clean, organized, and appeared to be properly maintained. Decent amount of parking available...
