Ordered online on a Friday night. Order said it would be ready by 7:03 and it wasn’t ready until about 7:45. They had to adjust something on our order because they were so busy they ran out of food. I felt bad because they just recently opened and looked stressed. They were featured on a foodie instagram that day and i don’t think they expected the rush they got but they were nice and apologetic about it. The food was worth the wait. The chicken quesadilla (which would have been steak) was huge and delicious. The jerk chicken tenders were good and really crispy. Didn’t really get a huge jerk vibe but it did have flavor and regardless, who doesn’t like a juicy crispy chicken tendyy with a good dipping sauce on the side. Chicken enchiladas were also huge and very good. Could’ve used a little more red sauce but the flavor was still all there. For them running out of food and still being able to scramble our order together i was impressed. I hope anyone who they had to turn away or waited a while for their order gives them a second chance!! I think they’ll do really well there with the fresh, flavorful,...
Read moreLast night was our first time ordering from Ole and I have to say we were disappointed. The bag was saturated from the watery salad bowls to the point that by the time I got home the whole bottom fell apart. Luckily we caught it before all the food fell to the ground. We ordered two salad bowls and like I said they were so watery we had to drain them before attempting to eat.I really would not even consider this a salad bowl because the only lettuce found was strips at the bottom and it was completely saturated from the rest of the mess they slopped into this bowl. I specifically asked for orders to have sauce on the side and instead they were drowned in sauce. Everything just looked and tasted slopped together. One order I requested no onions or fajita veggies and it still had them. We basically just picked apart our meals and threw them away. I was really looking forward to giving them a try but for $90 plus the suggested tip I don’t feel like I would be coming back and wasted my money. Not sure if it was just a careless worker or this is how the food really...
Read moreWe made a random stop here on our drive into Long Island, and the last thing we expected was to find tacos so good they could honestly bring someone to tears. The fact that there isn’t a line wrapped around the block is a crime.
The staff were incredibly kind and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm, laid-back, and welcoming, with great music to match. We ordered a little bit of everything off the menu, and everything was amazing. They don’t skimp, the tacos are generously packed with meat and toppings, giving you way more than you pay for.
The standouts? Without a doubt: the birria tacos, al pastor, and carne asada. Paired with an ice-cold Mexican Coke, each bite felt like a religious experience.
My brother, sister-in-law, and I travel for food, we go to Mexico at least once a year, and this place transported us there without the airfare. We’re from Canada, so we don’t get to come here often, but we’re already planning to stop by again before...
