If I could give this zero stars, I would. Normally, I don’t leave bad reviews. I just don’t go back to the restaurant. But after the unprofessionalism that was pulled yesterday night, I am no longer ordering from Pizza Hut. Especially from this location. There was a glitch on the app that caused my meal to be ordered twice so I call the place to fixed the order which they proceeded to do so. After my pizza arrived, I received a little love letter on my receipt saying “If you are not going to tip, pick it up yourselves.” Which left me baffled considering I did leave a tip of $6.35. I drove back to the store and explain to the cashier what had happened and he brought forth the driver who not only admitted he wrote on the receipt, not only was he not wearing a mask but was also very rude and unprofessional and kept saying didn’t give him a tip. When I asked if Im going to be help, he proceeded to tell me that since I have my food, I should move a long. And proceeded to throw receipts at me saying “There was no tip. There was no tip.” After arguing with the driver for about 2 or 3 minutes, the manager FINALLY comes out and the DRIVER tells the manager to print out the receipt. Imagine a DRIVER telling his MANAGER what to do. Anyways, the manager finally tells the driver to leave while the manager pulls up the records of previous orders. And lo behold, my tip that I gave him was right there. It was voided due to the change. After seeing it for himself, the driver then finally apologized for his behavior but at that point, I wasn’t having it. I understand these are trying times considering a pandemic is happening and these drivers basically survive on tips. I understand there can be a mistake in the system and at that point it’s nobodies fault. But the way this situation was handled, it was unprofessional, rude and disgusting. I have NEVER had this kind of service from any place of business. I have worked in retail and food businesses and has worked as a delivery person myself and this is NOT how handled business. So a message to the driver, don’t write nasty notes on your customers receipts when you don’t get a tip and not expect for the customer to come and put you in your place when you are later proved wrong. The choices have diminished over the years, the additional Delivery Fee is DEPLORABLE, and constantly my orders have been incorrect. Also, they never deliver to the correct door, and have left the food outside in the cold without calling to advise! And forget calling the Manager, I got an attitude as if it were my fault. A recent example of how "great" the employees are, I ordered curbside pickup, arrived when the app said to, called the store (I was able to see the workers), was put on hold, so they could WATCH A FOOTBALL GAME instead of WORKING & forgot I was even on the phone! Then I was told the order was never received & had to wait. The food is always either under-cooked or overcooked. Very Very Very disappointing. With its positive reviews, I expected this location to deliver the best Pizza Hut experience in the area. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
I ordered a standard hand-tossed pizza, but when it arrived, the crust was surprisingly hard and crunchy—more like a thin crust than the hand-tossed I anticipated. I really didn’t enjoy eating it; it felt more like a chore than a treat. Given the other fast food pizza options available in the area, I found this one to be quite underwhelming and not worth the calories.
