It was a really loud and packed environment. I came with my friends and kids from other schools made racist comments about me. As we were waiting for our orders, a lady standing beside us took a close up pic of my friend and then another pic of all of us and sent it to a group chat on WhatsApp without our permission then, left without purchasing anything. A group of girls besides us were screaming and one of the staff members came over and blamed it on me. I didn’t understand what he meant by me screaming because I was speaking to the person beside me. Later, he attempted kicked us out as we were leaving. We even cleaned up after ourselves and left politely, I don’t understand why he accused us for causing disturbances. Can’t believe he decided to blame ME out of all people. I can’t stop thinking about this because I know how to act in public and I am a good person but, this man made me feel as if I caused trouble and ruined a day with my friends, I cannot stop beating myself up about it because this really upset me. Read moreNot sure how this Starbucks is rated this well. I work nearby and come here frequently, as do most people I work with. It’s a known thing that you have to order at least 30minutes in advance to hopefully get your drink when you get there. Of course sometimes it comes out quicker and then your drink is ruined. Between seeming obviously understaffed, 3 employees during lunch time, one making drinks, one at the register and one packing to go orders, the staff moves so, so slow. Not that you can fault them when there’s 18 sets of people waiting on drinks and only 3 of them there. Then since having to put drinks behind a plexiglass, no one even acknowledges you. You could stand there for 20 minutes with no “hello, be right with you, what’s your name” etc. You have to go up to the counter and attempt to get someone’s attention even though they’re standing two feet from you. I got an email from corporate offering fifty percent off drinks. I waited online while the servers were just going very slow and A few seconds past 6, when the sale was over, they tried to finalize my purchase.The discount no longer applied. Instead of giving me a Courtesy for waiting.They looked at me and said well.Now it's full price Because it is after six. They only rang it up late.Because I was waiting in the store for ten minutes to be served by this slow servers. I asked to speak to a manager and of course he Was not in the store.
After they rang me up at full price.The computer asked to add a tip. Why would I give a tip for slow service on overpriced coffee. These servers are getting paid to do a job and then they expect a tip on top of that...
