What an annoying experience, person who assisted me was obviously being trained. I am all for being assisted by a trainee as long as their supervisor is making sure everything is done properly. First of all the trainee was asking questions to the supervisor and the supervisor was relaying those questions to me not the right way to start with me. I ordered a foot long steak and cheese hero. I recieved 2 80% filled scoops of meat which was sparsely spread about the heronot even filling the entire surface area. Supervisor was ok with that. I then asked for two toppings and I literally watched the gentleman place 7 jalapeños across a footlong sandwich. No one bothered to correct him and he did not bother to asked if I'd like more or less. He spoke with a faint whisper and and was clearly nervous. The supervisor left him to assist another customer, of which I assume got a full sandwich. As easy as making a sandwich is, it is still the responsibility of the trainer to set the standards of meal preparation. The store was not busy at all. The people behind me could of waited 2 mins so the trainer can make sure the trainee makes my sandwich to company standards. Read moreI recently visited the Subway at Merrick Valley Stream, and I was very disappointed with my experience. The staff displayed a rude and unhelpful attitude, which became even more noticeable when they realized I was using a coupon. It felt like using a discount annoyed them, which is unacceptable for any customer.
The food itself was also extremely disappointing. I ordered sandwiches with tuna and chicken, but they barely put any filling in them. I honestly felt like I was just eating bread, with almost no tuna or chicken at all. The portions were tiny, making the sandwiches feel incomplete and poorly prepared.
The overall experience was frustrating. While the store wasn’t dirty, the inattentive service and lack of proper food preparation left a very negative impression. Subway is known for fresh ingredients and customizable sandwiches, but this location completely failed to meet those standards.

Read moreI was just there and I ordered the sweet teriyaki sub combo so the chips and a large drink and as I go through the process one of the main workers who has been there more than 5 years for sure and always has poor body language and a dismissive attitude didn’t even know how to make the sub the was supposed to be made even though it’s on the menu ! And then he asks if I want a drink I make it a large and he asks if I wanted cookies and I said no chips(menu item) so I pay and as I leave with my drink I go to get the chips and tell them thank you and I was stopped by the woman conworker who assumed she knew my order and tried to say I was taking chips for free after I paid for an order that was a menu item that comes with chips and a drink …. So I show them my receipt and they seen it and should have felt ridiculous and embarrassed and in the midst of them trying to fake apologize I told them keep it .
