I had to try the re-introduced chicken sandwich that is all the rage. I waited on a 20 person line inside that took about 25 minutes to get through. I ordered three Classic Chicken sandwiches to take home for my family. No sides or drinks. I generally do not like Popeyes as so much here is fried and overly salty for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken sandwich. It was on a soft bun, a bit too greasy, but that added to the overall experience of knowing you are in for some serious unhealthy fast food. The chicken was tender and the breading quite crunchy, but overall dry. The pickle added a bit of zest. I think it could have used more mayo or other sauce as the chicken cutlet was rather thick and dry. Overall, I enjoyed it. My 12 year did not so much stating it was too bland and needed something to dip it with (sauce, etc). My wife thought is was just OK and didn't see all the hoopla about it and she is a Popeyes fan who likes their tenders as does my son. Is it worth the wait, maybe to try. Would I do it again for one, no. When the rush eventually ends, it may be an occasional treat when the wife wants her fix for some fast food, but waiting nearly 30 minutes is just not worth it to me. Read moreOrdered turkey for Thanksgiving and when I went to get turkey, was told that a black man with a beard had already picked up MY turkey on Nov. 15, 2024. If my pick up dates were Nov. 17-Nov.22, 2024, why would you give my turkey to someone on Nov. 15? Why have pick up date options if you don't abide by them. They refused to give me another turkey or a refund even after showing my receipt and my last order transaction on my Popeye's App which clearly showed that I ordered on Nov. 7, 2024 @ 6:04 p.m. They gave me the run around and a name and number of someone, who supposedly, owns the franchise, but that was to no avail because he never answered the phone or returned my phone calls. I felt like they thought I was trying to scam them for a free turkey, when in reality, I feel like they SCAMMED me. Someone in there made a mistake and now I have to suffer the consequences. They were very dismissive and unconcerned, now I'm out of $65.16. Hopefully Corporate can assist me in getting my refund. I NOR MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL EVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME AT THIS PARTICULAR...

Store now has decided that losing an entire order is acceptable and that saying ‘cancel the order yourself’ to asking where your online order was an acceptable answer. Also they have decided to leave before the store closes randomly. Just don’t go here. Go to another Popeyes if you need this food. No one needs this rudeness and neglect in their lives.
May 30th 2020: 7pmish experience. App doesn’t work for this store (did they turn it off or have an error?) (checked and it works for other stores), no Cajun fish available here, did not understand what their own menu ‘dinner’ option is and asked 4 times for clarification then still got the order wrong and charged $1 more than they should have for the order. Kind of rude about it. Store empty but somehow the cashiers here are deeply confused about the workings of their own store. Idk. Could have been better. No pleasant personality or service.
