First time there and I left with such a bad taste in my mouth- from the customer service.
I was the first customer of the day (got there right when they opened). There was a woman behind the counter who completely ignored me. Not even a "hi, I'll be right with you." We even made eye contact but she kept doing whatever she was doing without saying anything.
There were only two types of bagels out at the time. All the other bins for the different bagel types were empty. I was confused if those bagels I saw were just the ones left over from last night. Maybe they hadn't put out the fresh ones yet since it was early and I appeared to be the first customer. A second worker appears, a man, and I ask him "are these bagels fresh from this morning?" He ignores me and walks into the back.
He comes back out and I ask him again, and he begrudgingly tells me that yes, the bagels are fresh, as if I asked a stupid question. I tell him sorry I didn't know and that I'd never been there before.
I order a couple bagels and as he's off to the side preparing them, I can hear him and the woman talking about me under their breath. I heard one of them say "they're still warm, of course they just came out". Now how the hell am I supposed to know the bagels sitting there are warm? It's not like I can go behind the counter and touch them to make sure.
So when the guy is ringing me up I say to him "hey, sorry if I asked a stupid question before. I just never been here and I wanted to know if you make them here". And without looking up from the register he responds "no hard feelings".
Really? lol. No hard feelings? Oh you're such a saint for not holding a grudge against your customer for asking a question.
After all that, the bagels were decent. Not bad. Nothing outstanding, but I'd probably be a return customer if it weren't for their lousy people skills. There are plenty of other places that will sell me a bagel without the attitude.
P.S. You'll notice from my other reviews on Google, I usually only write a review for an amazing experience. If I have a negative opinion I usually keep it to myself. This one had me so offended though that I felt the need...

Of al the times I have been here, 1st time I got such a bad attitude from the 2 Indian women who work here. Pedro and most of the staff are great. Then the 2 Indian women were talking about me openly like if they were High School girls. I come here on a regular basis and I was shocked to get the attitude from them. Wow this is a 1st. Hope it does not continue! It really pained me to put this here. I doubt it will make a difference.
1 example, today, I asked for 2 coffees. I bring a coffee back to a neighbor. I went over to where they keep the ice and plastic cups to see which size, the young Indian person stood by the cash register pouting, I wanted to show her which sizes of iced coffee to make. "OH, I can't figure it out from here she says" with an attitude also. My son told me he will show her and said she was probably in a bad mood. 1 thing I know in retail is not to have a bad attitude with customers. Even when I was paying, she refused to look at me, which is fine. She asked my son for payment, I gave me card, and she was whispering to her other partner. The 2 Indian women were the only ones serving customers since
it was after 12 noon.
I really enjoy magic bagels, I came 2 to 3x a week. I guess I may have to wait for the others to serve me to get my bagels in the future.
I completely stopped coming here and opted for the wealth of bagel shops closeby. Better...
