Superhero Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Today was my second visit to Superhero Deli and today was my wife's first visit to this shop. I would definitely have to say that the shop is a well kept secret as the breakfast sandwiches and coffee service and prices are outstanding when compared to a Duncan Donuts. I passed this shop endless times in the past but never went in until this past November when I took my wife to her hair appointment early on a prior Saturday morning. While I waited for her I decided to buy breakfast at which time I decided to give this sandwich shop a try. The owners are absolutely delightful to speak with while waiting for your order.

Today, my wife visited the shop to buy breakfast with me and she also liked the food in today's visit. She can be very hard to please when it come to deli sandwiches and I was really surprised that she agreed with me. With that said, you have to stop in at your convenience and try a sandwich. In as much as the menu is a little limited, what they make is good and you have to love the sandwich names...

Very nice people that greet you warmly and make great egg sandwiches. Best egg sandy I've had in a very long time. Perfect, in fact! Coffee was very good too. They have a nice seating area and a TV to enjoy your meal as you relax for the day ahead. I can only speak on the egg sandwiches. It is conveniently nestled on Newbridge, just off of Sunrise. Parking lot was right there. Did I mention how nice the people are in here? Reasonably priced also. I hope to make it back for a regular sandwich soon too speak on this as well, since the name is...

Asked for a turkey and ham on a roll with lettuce tomatoes and provolone. I understand everyone needs to make money. But they added 2 slices of turkey and 2 slices of ham. The rest was filled with thick cheese, lettuce snd tomatoes . I begged my wife to go to an actual real deli to get sandwiches. But they charge as though they loaded the sandwich up. I dont like a lot of meat. But this is just pathetic. I just called to tell the owner i wasnt satisfied and if I could bring it in. He said there is a 1/2 lb of meat. Lol....
