Hii!! Your place is so lovely, charming, cozy, and warm. A great spot for a date, hanging out with friends, catching some vibes, and a very non-judgmental atmosphere. I would give this place five stars, but the only reason I can’t is because since I’m dairy free, I realllllllllly wish you had even just one more dairy free or vegan option for a dessert! If you have no allergies and you’re reading this, then 5/5 go here :)! However there are so so so many vegan and allergy-complicated people these days, that I can see your business boosting so much with just a few more options! For example, your vegan brownie is delicious and a great alternative to offer people. But I see all the pictures of your cakes and all I want is the cake so bad!! Usually places hesitate to offer increased vegan desserts because it seems complicated or costly but have you considered: a plain vegan cake (use dairy free milk and applesauce instead of eggs) simply dusted with powdered sugar and waa-la!! Great spot overall, just not my...
Read moreWaited inside for about 5 minutes before someone came up to us to put our name and phone number on a waiting list. We went to wait in the car for about 20 minutes. We didn't hear anything so we called to check our place in the queue. We were told "oh we just tried calling you but you didn't pick up, but we have a table ready for you". We walked from our car parked across the street at the train station to the coffee house, and when we walked inside we were told "so we called you two times and you didn't answer, so we gave your table away". We looked through the call history on our phone but no missed call was seen. We told this to them and we were told back "I guess we wrote down the wrong phone number. There's nothing I can do now. Want us to put your name back on the list?" We said no and left. Very disappointing...
Read morePerhaps it was an unlucky first visit or perhaps not, but the cappuccino from here had to of been the worst I've tried on L.I. I've tried over 15 different coffee shops on L.I. and I mainly order a cappuccino each time. This place served me a cappuccino in a beer mug with what resembled bath soap foam (not creamy at all) on top. The cappuccino tasted extremely burnt and smelled like an ash tray. Everything on the menu seems very overpriced for what you actually get as well. The dessert I ordered was $10 for a pathetic little cake. I could go to a fancy French bakery and get something 50x better for that price. Wonder if they raised prices to make up for COVID downtime. Apart from the awful cappuccino and overpriced menu, the environment was very welcoming and relaxing and there was nice...
