Young spanish girl ignored my online order, she knew my order was the mobile order, i dont know if it was fueled by prejudice because i did not say much to her other than, "i ordered online" she skipped my order for over 15 minutes and when i went up to ask her, she rolled her eyes and continued getting toys for a kids order that ordered 1 minute ago. she also stared at me blankly and silently, then the manager came up & started preparing it. i confirmed with the manager that my order was sitting aside for 15-20 minutes since 12:32 pm and asked her to remake it, & I'm not sure if they did because the sandwiches are not warm at all. When i told the manager about my experience with the cashier, the manager had 2 different excuses ready to defend her behavior talking about she didnt know i was here, & that they need to do uber first. I'm like no She KNOWS i ordered online because she asked and i been standing around walking back and forth as she ignores my presence and i see her skipping my order. The manager starts sarcastically saying "I'm so sorry" ridiculous service, you guys can literally get people SICK having food sitting out! get it together i understand if they had a lot of orders and the food is going to take 25 minutes but SPITEFULLY leaving my food out for 20 minutes needs a secret shopper...

I ordered a 4 for $4 and a #10 (Barbecue crispy chicken sandwich combo). Somehow, the woman thought that meant I wanted 10 piece nuggets. I saw my receipt and told her thats not what I ordered. She got the manager to refund me the money. I told the manager that I still want the #10 though. The manager didn't seem to know what a #10 was even though it was on the menu behind her and the cashier who took my order yelled at me telling me to make up my mind. Do I want the nuggets or not?! It took everything in my being not to cuss those people out. But calmly I pointed to the menu and asked for a #10. When I got back to my store to eat, I found out they gave me the wrong item. Thwy gave me a burger with some kind of weird sauce on it. My break was over and I couldn't go back to return it.
So....I will NEVER go to that Wendy's ever again even if it's for a favor for a coworker unless I see new...
Read moreI believe the hiring manager went to the worst possible hood and said "I'm looking for the most ghetto trash to come work at my Wendy's in Lynbrook; You won't need any customer service skills, because you don't have to use it. You don't have to say hello, respond to customer saying thank you, give receipts,give utensils, make eye contact, probably don't even have to wash your hands. I've been here during the day and staff is appropriate, but evening shift straight outta Compton! To be fair, this is regarding the whomever works the intercom and the girls at the window (evening.) They don't even have the decency to completely open the window when handing you your card & food, probably don't want customers to smell the crack boiling. I'm sure the owner of this store wants customers coming...
