I placed an online order today at 2:29pm knowing the restaurant wouldn't open until 4pm. I was hoping by placing the order early and being one of the first online orders our meals would be ready right at 430 and I wouldn't have to wait long. I pulled into the ToGo Pick-up spot #3 at 422pm, 8mins early and promptly text that I was there and the spot number I was parked in. 20min goes by and I noticed 2 cars who pulled in after me received their meals and left. I text again at 442pm letting them know I was in Parking spot 3 thinking maybe by some chance the first "check-in" didn't go through. After watching about 4 more cars pull in and leave before me with their meals I realized I had been waiting 45 minutes and still was not delivered my meals. When I saw the to-go waitress I hopped out my car to ask about my order and she stated she didn't know what the hold up was but would check. 5 more min goes by and I sent a text "send manager out". the young lady and manager comes out to explain to me they had given my meal to another "Ashley" who had also placed an order. After 50 min of waiting I tried to be understanding however due to my busy day leading up to me placing my order online, patiently waiting 1hr in pickup for my order and my sugars dropping as I am a diabetic and very pregnant my hormones got the best of me and I began to cry like an idiot. The managers solution was to send out some dinner rolls so I could snack on one while still waiting for my order to be finished up, I was grateful for that because again my sugars were dropping and I was starting to get shaky. After 1hr waiting in pickup and paying for their mixup mistake (which last names should ALWAYS be checked as there are many Ashley's or Joe Schmos in the world) Roadhouse STILL couldn't get my order right as they forgot my husband's side salad that we paid for with his meal. I am not one to ask for free meals or free anything however this was a HUGE screw-up and even after messing up the first time they should have double or triple checked that EVERYTHING was in the bag before handing it off to me. By the time I got home and realized my husband's salad was missing I was just DONE! We used to love TRH however the service has gone downhill big time and so has their accountability. TRH is always known to be a popular and busy restaurant which shouldn't be their excuse but rather accepted when one takes on a role at that establishment as well as why there should be more steps taken when a to-go order is placed and if they are too busy for to-go orders they should not offer that option anymore especially with the holiday season upon us which means an even busier time and more mistakes to be made. Not only was my order given to another customer, I waited 45minutes in pickup unaware of what was going on and an hr or so before I finally received my meals, then getting home to realize I was missing items is completely unacceptable. The amount of mistakes that was made tonight with my order is unacceptable and should have been refunded all together or given minimally a gift card...
Read moreWe went in last night 4/22. We had a call ahead for 5:25 pm. We arrived at 5:12 and checked in... we were seated at about 5:40. No big deal, it was busy, but not 2 hour wait, crazy busy... about 10 minutes later we saw our server for the first time... again, no big deal! We had our order ready 16oz ribeye, medium rare, house salad no cheese, side of bacon, baked potato, side if bacon, extra butter, sour cream. Full rack of ribs, Fries and Fries, very well done... Oh and coke for our beverages... about 5 or so minutes later we recieved out drinks, then came another basket of bread, then my salad about 40 minutes after we placed out order we received our food... ribs were great, fries were ok... they served a 14oz NY strip medium and with a half raw, literally still crunchy baked potatoes... sent the baked potato back, but figured maybe the waitress just ordered me the wrong steak, although being there for as long as she has, we have had her before, that she would know the visual difference between the steaks being served... that steak absolute toughness of the steak was so bad that I had to cut it into tiny pieces just to be able to chew it... I'm confused at how a restaurant that is pretty much a STEAK HOUSE can confuse a NY strip and a Ribeye... I've never had a bad meal at a Texas Roadhouse... even when I've been served food wrong before (it happens) I've had great food... and for all the time we were in there the manager never came by the table and checked which is standard of service... although he had time to stop buy the servers side of the bar over 8x to chat with the waitresses and one at a time give the bartender a bottle when she clearly asked for several... we were brought 1 coke refill for 2 people, and never checked on again until we had to flag our waitress down for the check... I never thought I would post a bad review for one of my favorite date night restaurants.. its truly disappointing... next time I guess we will be going to Cracker Barrel... less wait time, and the food is constantly decent, for a more reasonable price... I can honestly say I'm not sure we will go to this location again, at least not for a while... I really love Texas Roadhouse, and although this is the closest at an hour and a half away, we try to come in every time we shop, which is up to a couple times a...
Read moreI have always been a fan and loved Texas Roadhouse. Has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I have never had a problem with service here up until this year. I came to this establishment on Friday night with 2 of my friends. We got there and the hostess asked if we preferred a table or a booth, of course we said booth. The hostess gave us a nasty look and a sigh. Whats the point in asking what we prefer if you're going to be having an attitude about us wanting a booth? All 3 of us are 18 years old and we were not treated very kindly by our waitress. We got seated and started eating peanuts at the table while we waited for her to bring our bread. As soon as she saw us she gave us a nasty look and gave us a nasty look and did not greet us kindly. I can understand servers not caring to deal with teenagers as they don't think they will get a good tip, but it's not okay to assume that you won't get a good tip and to treat us rudely. She brought us bread and we asked for plates. There was 3 of us and she only brought 2 plates which I thought was strange. We got our drinks and it took another 20 minutes to get another round of drinks or for her to come over to us. I then asked for a water with extra lemon. She said sure and left and it was another 20 minutes until she came back, with no water. So I kindly asked again "can I please get a water with extra lemon?" She brings me a water and there is no lemon. I then asked again for some lemons. I should not have to ask my waitress 3 times for a water with lemon. I understand that there is other people eating there and she has other tables to deal with. But she was not nice to us. Constantly giving us nasty looks and making us feel like we did something wrong, when we were just trying to enjoy our dinner. And then brought us our food 40 more minutes later, no biggie. We were willing to wait. I am just disappointed that I saw her be so kind and sweet to her other tables and very attentive but when it came to us she just treated us like dirt and did not come over and ask us if everything was all good. I don't want to name her because I am not that type of person, but service needs to be the...
