The Old Bravo Nadar has turned into Angelos And it is amazing

It pains me to write this place up since it is on the smaller side but definitely has become my favorite place to eat. I know once you go you will be back multiple times and reservations will be hard to come by so only reason it pains me to write this up so nice. The owner Angelo deserves this place to be packed. He has turned this place into one of the best restaurants in Suffolk County with a ton of work done inside and out. And the star of the show His food . If I had to pick one place to eat this would be it. Problem is the amount of choices you have is unlimited. Stuffed pork chop ( amazing ) osso bucco ( OMG ) Veal Chop ( Fantastic ) Those are my top three.

Apps. Crab cakes now I can say best I ever had. Calamari off the charts and spicy grilled oysters. Some of my favorites.

Those are just some of my personal favorites a ton more to choose from.

And then my favorite dessert napoleon home made creamy but crunchy wafer. I cant say anything else about dessert because I never change always get same thing its that good.

The staff is so friendly always on top of their game never an empty glass and if you dont like something no problem they fix it change it recook it whatever makes you happy

Price is about whats expected with this kind of meal and quality of the food.

I hate leaving a place saying yeah that was good because these days good is just not good enough when spending your hard earned money When you leave here I know there might be someone who will say just good but 98 percent of the people will say wow we need to come back this place is AMAZING Because it is . Trust me. Again the place is on the smaller side so make reservations but definitely give it a try you will be...

Angelo’s is THE BEST Italian restaurant on Long Island! As much as I want to keep this place a hidden gem, I have to give credit where credit is due. When you first walk in, you are greeted by their friendly waitstaff and Angelo. The inside is intimate and cozy. If you are looking for a date night spot, this is it! As much as we loved their main menu, the star of the show was their specials. For appetizers, we ordered the lollipop lamb chops and the stuffed rigatoni in a vodka sauce. The lamb chops were SUPER flavorful and tender and came with 4 pieces, which was perfect for sharing. The pasta was made fresh and was perfectly al dente and the sauce had layered flavors. For our entrees, I got the veal chop. It was stuffed with broccoli rabe and mozzarella and it was pounded thin, coated in breadcrumbs and fried and topped off with a brown sauce with mushrooms. It was served over a bed of mashed potatoes. Simply delicious and ginormous! I was able to have leftovers for lunch. My fiancé got the stuffed pork chop, which came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. His empty plate spoke for itself! For dessert, we were surprised with a dessert board (thank you Chris!). It came with tiramisu, flan, napoleon, a chocolate cake and strawberries in a white sauce that was made fresh and poured table side. I’m drooling just thinking about it! Shoutout to Oscar and his kitchen staff for making such a delicious meal and Angelo and the waitstaff for being so attentive and accommodating. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back! Thank you Chris for the awesome...

This Restaurant came highly recommended, upon making a reservation. They explained that they were booked and then they told me they had a table on their enclosed patio, which was air-conditioned.

I thought it was odd. That was an afterthought to tell me this. They took my reservation over the phone since I could not make one online there was no option.

Upon arriving We walked into the restaurant, the male host was standing there, and he walked us back out the door.

There was another door next-door to look like a trailer of some sort. It was a metal structure with no windows like a container maybe. I’ve never seen anything like it, no atmosphere 4 tables in this metal container. And they said that was the only thing they had that was our reservation.

I walked Back out, thinking, I don’t want to eat in this strange metal room with no atmosphere. We decided to stay since it was our last night in town.

The food was OK overpriced and not very Flavorful.

I did try to talk with the manager again prior to leaving after I had to go into the real restaurant to use the bathroom. Which seem like a lovely little dining area maybe 8 tables.

He just kept insisting that that was an enclosed patio, although in looking up an enclosed patio, which I already knew that is something that has windows all around. There were no windows we were sitting in this box. They said we could leave the door open, which then left us staring at the parking lot across the street and hearing all the trucks drive-by.

I recommend the restaurant but make sure you get a seat inside...

My daughter picked Angelo’s for her Birthday ! She had heard wonderful things and we always try to look for new places. First being welcomed and shown to our table by the owner was personal ( love that touch )! Well this Cozy Authentic Italian spot did NOT DISAPPOINT!! We were a party of five. Drinks were yummy ! Try the strawberry basil martini or the cucumber mojito!!! Ok now Apps- the Lollipop lamb chops were tender, seasoned to perfection melt in your mouth , the spicy oysters OMG , tuna tartare flavorful with a little kick and the sweet chili calamari tender! We skipped salads- Entrees- I had the Short Ribs over risotto ( I asked for peas to be added which was not a problem) first the absolute MOST TENDER short rib I’ve ever had ! ! Flavor on point! Two of the kids ordered the Lemon Linguine Alfredo- Bright and Fresh - yum! My daughter ordered the Penne Ala Spinaci - delightful and bright came with chicken ( shrimp would be amazing also) and my husband I believe ordered the Sea scallops which were tender and amazing! If you haven’t stopped in you MUST! Finding a gem like this doesn’t happen frequently! Angelo’s was wonderful ! ! ! FIVE STARS !

Was on the search for gnocchi for my grandpa for takeout. Called about 4 places and then Angelo’s thankfully said they had it! I ordered the lemon fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken. Pick up process was smooth . A small cozy restaurant. The Alfredo sauce was DELICIOUS and they gave a generous amount of seasoned chicken…the seasoning was incredible and complemented the creamy pasta perfectly. Portions were big enough for us both save some for lunch the next day so even though it is a bit costly they definitely give you your moneys worth and the quality is 👌My grandpa also enjoyed his gnocchi with a simple tomato sauce very much. Thank you Angelo’s! Hoping to try the tiramisu next time.
