Burger King — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Whoever works here as a manager or assistant manager treats teenagers like their pets!!! My son who is 16 years old, a beautiful son in a family very much worth of anything has been treated like a dirty no needed pet.

My son applied for a job at this location couple of weeks ago, he had all his working papers. The manager named Diamond told another female manager to tell my son that he's been hired and to work weekdays 5-9pm. I wasn't happy about the hours during school days, but I thought they would give a new employee bad hours. They told him to start last Monday 11/25th to work 5-9, he called to confirm before leaving from home and they told him he can start from Wed, so he was disappointed!!! Last Wednesday 11/27th, the weather was horrible, with wind and rain. My son went to Burger King to work 4:45pm and he was told by a female manager that they didn't know he was coming and they didn't need him and that they didn't even have his uniform ready. I couldn't believe that they would do that to somebody. They think they can do that just because he's a teenager. They told him to come work on Friday which is today, He had all planned preparing to wear black slack and black shoes to work this evening. Just few minutes ago my son was told that manager Diamond doesn't need him anymore. Manager Diamond didn't even have the decency to call my son himself. He told my son's friend who works there to give him the message. What kind of manger is that who supposed to run some business. I am so very much furious. They gave my son a run around. If they didn't need anymore person, they coudl've just told him in the first place. We've been in Commack area for longest time and I have never knew this town had an ugly business like this Burger King. I'm very curious how this place runs with their food. As I had just stated previously in my review of Popeyes Chicken because they too offer a chicken sandwich on a Brioche Roll there's just No Comparison between Burger Kings Chicken Rodeo Sandwich & Popeyes famous but highly over rated chicken sandwich. Although the crispy chicken Rodeo is no longer listed on the Menus at Burger for those in the know it can still be gotten. When I go I get the crispy chicken Rodeo meal & then substitute a strawberry shake for the soda. If you wanna talk about Fast Food Heaven man the strawberry shake alone is well worth going there for. As I'd stated in my reviews for Popeyes in regards to Burger King there simply just aren't enough stars on here for me to rate the flavor profile of that strawberry shake mixed with that Chicken Rodeo Sandwich. If it was a practical thing to do & I could live on just Burger King alone & I had a means of getting there all the time I might just do that. That's why I go as often as possible to get my favorite Crispy Chicken Rodeo Sandwich with the Strawberry shake onion rings held back or on the side. For me in My World Burger King Truly is King & once you've had the taste for Burger King there's just No goin back to McDonalds. I'm sure it has its place for some people but my moral compass in seeking out the ultimate flavor profiles simply won't let me do it anymore. What is wrong with this burger king? They could have so much more buisness if they listened to there customers legitimate complaints. There biscuits are always hard to begin with. But this morning. It was so hard it was like trying to eat a hockey puck. I don't know if they cook them for to long or its from the day or two befor. There eggs are either over cooked or under cooked. There onion rings and mozzerala sticks supposed to have a nice taste to them not being hard as welll. I dont know if they letting them just sit there to long instead of throwing them out when they supposed to. And cooking new ones. Or what the case may be. But something needs to be done about this burger king. It bad representing which may make other burger kings look bad. The manager supposed to ensure good quality food. The district manager supposed to over see things. To make sure everything is up to par. Some one dropped the ball with this burger king. Retraining needs to be done...
