Cabo Fresh - Commack — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Was my 1st visit there. Asked for ground beef tacos (didn't know that they only had shredded beef or steak). When I said that I'd take the beef, I apparently had to specify "shredded beef", because my response was met with silence... other staff members on the line were more friendly though.

We received our orders very quickly; fast service. When I went to the soda/condiments area, thought I heard the nearby worker suck her teeth...apparently she was cleaning/restocking & perhaps I was in the way. Had to clean the table where I sat; last customers apparently left jalapenos, spilled sauce on the table. Food was good, but the tortilla chips seemed a bit stale. Went to the counter, was given another bag from the same batch. For the most part was ok, though it seemed that a few chips were of a different freshness/consistency; a couple were downright rubbery. When I went to the counter a 2nd time I was told that the chips "were made earlier today"; not sure if that meant that they were cooked on site, or just bagged. She apologized, but didn't give any indication that she was going to share feedback with the manager. Otherwise, food quality was very good, though I was surprised that the beef had no spiciness whatsoever; even a chain restaurant like Chipotle provides a little more of a kick. My dining partner really enjoyed...

Really Sad! Hands down the worst ordering experience I've ever had but outstanding burrito. Very nice young woman began myself and my wife's order when I'm assuming a frontend manager(?) came to support, we began with no issue and continued building both burritos with me second, the young woman proceeded to the protein and explained all options. I chose one but wanting a bigger portion as she helped me, I asked if I could add chorizo; the second employee proceeded to explain over the first employee already informing me on I'm assuming the pricing structure. I'm being explained this for this first time and while I can appreciate either not wanting a line to form or not wanting me to be surprised by the price, but it is expected to be charged more when asking for more. There's nothing confusing about that. This second employee it felt like was assuming I could not pay for some reason and after what felt like arguing over whether or not I was hungry? A large line had formed and other employees began commenting on the matter, a female employee with red hair continued to comment condescendingly towards me loud enough for my wife to hear and become upset. They were in tears. I couldn't be happier to pay and leave....

Chris was very attentive and a fine ass man. Great food too btw ;) (on a realer note-) Food always taste so good especially the chicken or steak bowls. Always a good assortment of toppings to choose from and they also have other options for vegetarians and pescatarians. I’ve had the smoothies there a couple times and this place just does well to meet your expectations. All the workers are always so sweet and attentive. You can just tell they care about their food quality and can’t wait for this to reach outside of Suffolk county and other people can share the love for Cabo! In my opinion this place is fine dining compared to moes or chipotle so definitely...
