the food was very good, well prepared. the wine was great as well. here is where they failed: they know NOTHING about wine service. 1) you don't open an ordered bottle at the bar and bring it to the table with a plastic pump cork. 2) you don't just pour for everyone at the table without presenting the bottle to make sure its what was ordered. you present, then cork, and lastly let the person who ordered it, taste it. the taste is not for like or dislike, its for good or turned wine. 3) there were 4 of us at the table. our first food item was a very delicious melted cheese dish. why only 2 slices of bread????? we had to ask for more bread. 4) we ordered a charcuterie board. there were many cheeses and meats.....no explanation, it was just dropped off at the table. we had to call the waitress back for explanation. she was very nice but knew nothing of service. not her fault, its the owner's fault. again we had to ask for bread which we were told was coming, was still in the oven....then wait and serve it all together. its not like the place was packed and they had to turn the table. if you ask your customers to pay $50+ for a wholesale $17 bottle of wine, it should be served properly. its not a pitcher of soda where you just serve it. same with the board. it was a specialty board, treat it that way. lastly, what is with the bright lights?..this isn't bagel time or a diner..its a cocktail hour/bar. the owners should visit other wine bars and see how its done. its not a fatal situation because the product is very good, its just not taken seriously. despite all these mishaps, we had a nice time but it had to do with the company not the service. i would not rush back and drop over $200 for the table with type of service. again not the waitress's fault. she was not trained. please at least google...
Read moreI recently had my bridal shower at Citrus and it was wonderful! The space is so beautifully decorated and comfortable for a party of 35. Katty was amazing to work with, developed a custom food and beverage menu with me, stayed within my budget (even stayed below budget!), made sure the food was served timely and there was always enough. The owner was also there and made sure everything ran smoothly, everyone always had their glass full and helped with things like decor, music and set up. The space is entirely customizable which was a big benefit. My guests are still talking about how good the food was. There was a slight miscommunication over the bill (which was my fault) and they promptly corrected it. I would highly recommend hosting...
Read moreThis is the first review I’ve ever written. I’m serious when I say this was one of the best experiences at a place I’ve ever had. The waitress was extremely friendly. They were out of stock on the wine bottle we ordered, so the owner herself came to our table and gave us a more expensive bottle for the same price!
The Italy charcuterie board was HUGE. They give you a full meal for two. They hand pick the meat and cheese each day. I asked to try another cheese I wanted and they gave it to us no questions asked.
At the end of our meal, the other owner asked us how everything was and made so many jokes that made us laugh.
Live music on Thursdays, friendly owners and staff, great vibe. 11/10 stars. Will be my new...
