First off, not the greatest Mexican restaurant in the world. My mom wanted enchiladas and I told her they must have them, no Mexican restaurant in the world is without enchiladas. I scan the menu when we sit down and sure enough there were no enchiladas. So now Lucharitos becomes the first Mexican (dare I call it that) restaurant without enchiladas. The following are comments from the moms: The guacamole: nothing but avacado; plain, no onion/tomato/spices of any kind. The tacos: pretty run of the mill, drowned in chipotle sauce, not good The ribs: a little dry, not juicy, all the sauces were sweet. Basically everything was drowned in sugar. They nickel and dime you for every add on including sour cream and a ketchup container size of salsa. In my opinion, giving chips without salsa is heresy. 7 dollars for a small queso is kinda ridiculous. . The wait staff was excellent, very attentive and friendly.
Overall, I would avoid this place, there are much better restaurants.
In response to the owner: whether your business is big or small, the quality of your food, service, and the appearance of your establishment matter. We ordered several items from your menu, not a single dish was on par and that’s being kind. The thing about enchiladas, even your server said “yeah I wish we had that too.” Ive never paid for sour cream with tacos so thanks for that. I’ve never paid for salsa with chips so thanks for that as well. The food was terrible quite frankly. I think you should focus more on the quality of your food and less on the not so clever comebacks on Google reviews, please note the negative reviews abound on this place. Avoid! Again, the service was excellent, server was extremely good. The photo is exactly what was on our table as served to us. ...
Read moreWhat a great new food and drink treat I was introduced to last night. Going out for a bite to eat, must, for me, include excellent food, a comfortable, upbeat atmosphere and quality service. Lucharitos delivers well on all three counts. The goodies that were brought out to me simply kept getter better and better. Some might suggest that may have been one of the byproducts of the classic marguerita I’d been sipping on. Not so. I am certain that prep, production and presentation of the jalapeno poppers, the Mexican street corn, the grilled shrimp and the carne asada tacos, was entirely due to both the freshness and the skilled culinary delivery of the crew at the grill. I stayed with my marguerita because it was crisp, tart and had that full depth of tequila tang. Listening to others around me sing the praises of some of the other cocktails: Oaxaca Mule, pomegranate marguerita and the Mysterio, simply confirmed that the barkeeps knew just how to concoct the perfect drinks. The wait staff was courteous, efficient and ever present to take care of any and all of our requests. That they were constantly smiling and always cheerful, is one of those positive indicators of a well-run operation. The main room is well lit, bright and teeming with crisp colors in the solid tradition of Lucha libre. It is readily evident that the proprietors have been following a very positive winning formula for creating the proper eatery that suits all tastes. This gem of a taqueria is a must try for anyone looking for superior food and a laid-back dining experience. I am looking forward to my next visit, where I will continue to sample the enticing, varied choices. Stop reading this and head off to Lucharitos. You’ll...

At my office we do large orders for birthdays- it was my birthday so I picked this place because I've eaten in there before and it was great. We placed a $650 order we offered to fax/email over our order to make it easier, they chose to take it over the phone one by one and they labeled the boxes for us as well. This was also a PICK UP order- they do not offer delivery. I drove over to get it and got the receipt PLEASE READ YOUR RECEIPTS* - it stated there was an added 20% service charge which was equal to $130.
When I questioned it they said it was their policy for large take out orders because we took up an entire screen during their busy lunch hour. They easily could have declined our order it was too much work- OR they could have DISCLOSED the "policy" when we placed the order- it seemed a little shady to add that on without mentioning anything or giving us the option to not place the order if that was too much.
The woman went to the back, and then came back to me and said "I got my manager to make an exception this one time and we adjusted it but moving forward it will be 20% that is our policy and we had to do a LOT of work". I will say that the woman was not mean or rude to us- but she definitely was intentionally trying to make us feel bad for lowering the tip. There is no way that a pick up order is worth $130 tip- they should have been happy we placed such a large order and we definitely would have been reoccurring customers. My office will definitely not be allowing anymore big orders to go through this location which is a shame since the food was great and we certainly could have brought a lot...
