Gustoso Pizzeria & Island Wings — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

If I could give 0 stars I DEFINITELY would. Customer service is terrible here. I would avoid this place at all costs. Ordered food for my coworkers and I. I ordered 3 sets of wings and 1 lunch special. The guy who took my order over the phone, his name was Gabriel, forgot to add a order of wings. So when I noticed I gave the place a call to tell them, Gabriel proceeded to tell me that "the cook" put all the orders of the wings in the bag and that he was going to call the delivery guy to see if it was in his car, I said "ok". Called 5 minutes later because I figured he was NOT going to call me because he did not ask for my phone number. Gabriel answered and I asked him what was going on and he said that "the cook" put the wings in the bag and that they got delivered. I said "no they did not, I'm looking at the order and I'm missing an order of wings. He then proceeded to state that I did not order 3 orders of wings, I only ordered 2. I said no I did not, he then said "ok, we will deliver them right away." I said alright. 5 minutes later I noticed that there was no ranch or blue cheese sauce like I had asked. So I called again and told him what the situation was, every time I tried to explain that there was no sauce he kept talking over me and kept giving me the same excuse that he did earlier, "the cook said he put it in there, so it's there." He then got really rude and said that I was lying and that I did not know what I was talking about and when I asked if I could speak to a manager or a owner he first said that there was no one else there and that if there was they would say the same thing he was telling me. Then he said that he was both the manager and owner and that I needed to stop calling because I was not going to get sauce or the wings that they did not put in the bag and if I wanted those items I had to pay an extra $10 for delivery fees. I tried reaching out multiple times today to speak to someone and every time someone would hang up the phone one me. I find it unbelievable that I paid $41 for an order of loaded fries, an order of 12 and 7 wings and a lunch special. I am so frustrated and annoyed at the situation. All I asked for was some sauce and for the order of wings that they forgot to put in the bag. Please save yourself the hassle and frustration, do NOT go here, go...

0 stars for their poor customer service, their rude staff and their poor handling of partially consumed food that was already in the customer's home. Thursday night, we ordered wings (specifically boneless) and pizza for a small crowd. The bill came to $90 plus $10 tip =$100. We immediately noticed the wing order was incorrect. The wings were bone in, which we did not order or want. We called Toxic and explained their error. They promised to deliver the correct order shortly. Almost 2 hours later, still no wings. At that point, we called the store again, as some of our company was leaving, to ask where they were or, at this point, to just refund our money for the incorrect portion of the order. People had already started eating the wings, and the pizza etc. Toxic said were on their way. When they finally did arrive, they actually asked for the original wings back...wings that were sitting in my house for 2 hours. (against Health and safety laws to take opened food back.) What were they going to do with those wings? We told them some were eaten already. Angry at the whole way this expensive take out order was handled, I closed the door. And to add insult to injury, I then received a phone call from TOXIC telling us never to order...

Update: I gave them another shot after owner Anthony reached out to me and offered a re-do on another function at my daughters day care. Arrived timely and Anthony was extremely courteous. Best pizza in Huntington. FAR BETTER than some places that have been here for 25 years!!!

Customer service is HORRIBLE!! I called on Monday to place an order for delivery to be sent to my daughter’s daycare for Tuesday by 11:30am. I received a call at 12pm asking what time I needed it delivered 🤔 EXCUSE ME? The day care finally called and said it had been delivered at 12:45p?! 🤔

The pizza is amazing, but the fact that they were late for delivery because of lack of communication in their facility is so frustrating. Never can they be trusted with my party...
