I wasn't very impressed. I went on a Wednesday night with a friend of mine. his vegetable dumplings and chicken pineapple fried rice were pretty good, (albeit they neglected to put it inside the pineapple.) and as an app I got tako sashimi. it was nice. hard to mess up sashimi as long as it's from a decent source.
I did the make your own poke bowl, so of course I liked all the ingredients I picked, and everything was fresh. what threw me off were the sauces. I got the citris ponzu and Siracha aioli; problem was I was given sauces that were nothing like I expected them to be. I'm used to a brown ponzu that's a bit salty, but this ponzu was clear and had very little flavor except for the citris. the aioli wasn't creamy at all, and the Siracha was barely present. it was more like a spicy red wine vinaigrette than aioli. I tried it out anyway, but it didn't really work for me. especially since I was there for dinner and I thought I'd be paying 22 for it. (when I got the bill they only charged me 17, which was nice but still) The fact that the presentation was pretty sloppy for a place that seems somewhat upscale also disappointed me. I know it's a poke bowl, but they didn't even try to make it look nice.
we ordered dessert. sadly my fried Oreos weren't so great either. the tempura batter was so thin that I don't think the Oreos had enough time in the fryer to get nice and gooey. they were soft but not enough in my opinion. my friends chocolate lava cake thing was pretty good and the presentation was much better. I will say the service was great, Sarah (?) was new but very attentive and nice. I do plan on giving it one more chance and getting something different. The menu is pretty cool and I like the atmosphere, so I hope they can improve and get more clients there. it was pretty dead, even for...
Read moreI’m not sure how to put this but to keep it short I would say this is the absolute worst food I’ve ever eaten coming from California to visit New York that’s saying a lot considering the fact that California, especially southern California has no good Chinese food but today I learned that there are places in New York, that are worse than anywhere in Southern California and that was a surprise I hope anyone who reads this review takes this seriously and avoids eating the food at this restaurant as you will be extremely disappointed I’m not sure where these good reviews come from if they’re from the employees or the restaurant owner themselves but they seem fake. I can assure you that this is a real review, and that this food taste similar to The same food out of a dumpster I’ve never eaten out of a dumpster but I would imagine that it’s pretty close. In fact, maybe that’s where she the owner got. The food is from a dumpster and brought it inside and cooked it and then fed it to me I’m not sure I can’t really say but what I can say is that this is the worst Chinese food that I’ve ever eaten in my entire life and that saying a lot , thank you.

Read moreMy friends and I stumbled across this place while we were around the Huntington area. We were craving sushi so decided to give this place a try. Upon entering I had a funny feeling because it was completely empty beside the two people at the bar. But we were hungry and it’s the middle of a pandemic so we decided to go anyway. As we got seated the waitress who was super rude asked for our drink orders and I asked for soda water. She gave me attitude and was super rude because I didn’t say “seltzer” instead of soda. I figured she must’ve had a long day and brushed it off. The food came and it was not good. I mean it didn’t have a smell or anything but it was not good sushi. In the middle of our meal a random drink man from the bar who was also the waitress’s friend just hanging out at the restaurant came over and started to hit on my friend. And he was NOT WEARING A MASK. And we were freaking out!!! He was super close to us and breathing all over our food. The waitress came and took him away after a while. She never apologized for what happened and continued to show us attitude. We were extremely unhappy with the service and still traumatized by our experience here. We still left a tip since it’s hard times and people need all the help they can get....
