Great food Horrible Horrible Horrible service We have been going to wild ginger since the restaurant first opened and we had to bring our own bottle of wine and the beer free since they didn't have a license to sell it. Since then I have taken my family there over 25+ times. For the 1st time ever we ordered food to be delivered. It was delivered.. we sat down to eat.. (thinking this is great thAt they deliver) and it was ALL the wrong food. I called the restaurant and the girl advises that she will contact the driver and that they will make ALL new food and redeliver. I Agreed since of course since mistakes do happen. As I wait for the new correct order to be delivered I call back and say "this is annoying.. I gAve the driver a 15% tip.. I would like that refunded or given back" they advise that they can't do that. Unknown to us we must have ordered the food through Yelp???? Okay, so what .. just refund me $7 and we are good Nope can't do it Just send the driver with $7 Nope can't do it Manager is on vacation .. so assistant manager says: uhhhh no I can resend food or credit u the $50+ you spent on food.. now its getting stupid and I want a refund Nope can't even do that So they mess up, and it's my fault ?? If that was me the customer would not only get their correct food but also get a credit for the entire bill if not more to come back. Food is good but managed poorly. So u lost a customer of $7 I'll save the wrong food in a sealed bag and bring it back to u on Monday when the REAL manager is there. Sad ending Learn how to do...
Read moreWild Ginger is a Pan Asian Restaurant, principally Chinese and Japanese, serving an assortment of alcoholic beverages that complement the cuisine: specific sake wines for warm or cold consumption; Sapporo beer for the sushi; plum wine, for the Szechuan. There are also Thai and Indonesian dishes. More spicy versions are available, if you are an aficionado. Mango dishes and mixed drinks are also on the menu. Sriracha goes great with oysters on the half shell. My Szechuan peppercorn steak was very tasty. Not exactly a capsaicin binge,, this was playfu with a bit of back burn. The execution was modern and probably reduced carb. My brown rice was served on the side. This happened about half the time in.Tokyo. For those with a sweet tooth, a truly decadent ice cream dessert with Khalua is available. That icecream float was delicious,, but liqueurs are not my thing. Not to worry, a female dining companion was up to the challenge. She was also friendly with a Manager/Maitre d with excellent English skills who was working the tables. The Hostess was a White Native Speaker.. Communication with the Customers is important to the Establishment. My dining party contained a family of regulars. This was a good thing, the joint was jummping. My only regret was not ordering the hot...

Shrimp were large and very tasty. calamari were ok they resembled onion rings from burger king .extremely uniform which made me think they came from a box frozen They werent bad but they werent what i was hoping for. .unfortunately i wasn't impressed with my bento box. I had the chicken Teriyaki. My girl had general taos chicken she wasnt too impressed either.saying it was on the crunchy side Although I found the portion very good but my chicken was very thin which seemed to make it taste on the dry side. .the veggies were barely cook which i didnt mind too much ( i like crunhy veggies). The shumai im indifferent about because i dont know what its suppose to taste like. .the miso was tasty and the salad ..well i just love...
