IDK what the issue is with the people and or the owner of this pizzeria is? THREE! times I went there and THREE! times I had a problem only to be greeted with an attitude the last time. IDK if it is due to the fact I am white and the people in there are Hispanic? Because I surely know I don't see them that way. If I did, I would not go there three times. One time the pizza was extremely salty!, another time I had a problem with something in the pie. And was told I can not get a credit on it. Because I did not call immediately! I called the next day, WOW! It sounds like nothing more than an alibi not to make good. And recently I was told I can not pick up the pie because I was not the one who placed the order. I said how the hell would I know what the order was and the name of the person who ordered it? If that person did not tell me where to go and what to pick up, as well as their name? And here is the best part. While I was there a Hispanic man picked up his pie, and waited outside for me. He told me he has a problem here too. He said he will never go back, and recommended another local pizzeria. I tried posting my review without giving a star rating because it doesn't deserve even one. But it would not let me post without a star choice. Even one star is...
Read moreI used to work in Hauppauge and have been a fan of Albert's Pizza for many years and liked their unique style of pizza. I haven't been to this particular location in a while. I went there the other day and it was terrible - I recognized something was different immediately. I knew something was up when the pizza looked differently, I didn't see the familiar black pans they used and when I saw Mexican food on their menu. I learned that NEW OWNERS bought it some time ago. That answers why the pizza was lousy and no better than any other crappy strip-mall pizza place. Seriously, how can someone claim their pizza is great - just look at the pictures customers are leaving. It is horrible. I should've walked out. But they were clever enough to keep the name. To satisfy my suspicions, I went on the other "Albert's Pizza" websites and saw that the logos I was familiar with are the same for the locations they still own and the Hauppauge location is a generic website with a different, generic logo - which aptly matches their generic pizza....
Read moreThe post John made was completely incorrect and made 0 sense. How do you expect to get a refund on food when you call a day later? you already ate it and now the next day you want to return it? what restaurant let’s you do this? also How do you expect to pick up an order when you don’t know the name or what was in the order? then you go on to play the victim which makes no sense because it would have been so easy to just call who ever made the oder and ask them if you were truly here to pick it up, finally why must you bring race into this? Make yourself a victim for being white? seriously you need to grow up and mature. I truly don’t know why you the pizza was salty we’ve had no complaints about that, however I hope this clears some things up from the 1 star review and I hope you...
