QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Very grateful for the staff at Qdoba Hauppauge! Being that I work closely, I come here often when able to. The restaurant is always cleaned and being cleaned, the food is always fresh and accurate to order, ready with pickup orders, and they have amazing women and men working here. The manager always has a friendly smile on his face even during the busy days and helps his staff. The team works very hard to make customers happy. The only thing I have noticed, is that bowl portions have gotten significantly smaller in the past few months, which I believe is due to corporate. You used to get a lot more portion in a bowl. Good hearty Mexican food. Well stocked and fresh. Service with a smile. Clean and well maintained facility. Comfortable seating. Capacity somewhat limited. Great Value for money meal options. Great option (really a great fit) for those Burger King/McDonald's regulars looking for a little more variety or 'complete' meal. The food lacks flavor. I had a bowel with regular chicken. I would say the chicken needed to be seasoned.The onions and peppers were not cut thin and lacked any real seasoning also. It's the same set up like a chipotle but lacks in flavor where as chipotle sometimes is a little to much. If you want a filling meal but dont like to much spices or any other flavor then this is your spot. I know I will not return not because of service but just because the food didn't do it for me.
